It’s truly so wild how quickly the dynamics of Vanderpump Rules changed since #Scandoval was revealed. A massive affair between Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss was brewing behind all of our backs for months. They blindsided Ariana Madix. They bamboozled us all and it’s going to make Season 10 that much wilder. It has also, in a stranger turn of events, brought Kristen Doute back into our day-to-day lives.
Kristen was a VPR alum who got the boot in 2020 along with so many other OGs. Kristen is messy in every sense of the word and probably one of the most chaotic reality TV stars of all time. However, she’s a girl’s girl and the first to slam Sandoval for cheating. She’s been right by Ariana’s side since the cheating scandal was revealed and it’s been warm to see. It’s also been speculated that Kristen is coming back to Pump Rules to film for the #Scandoval storyline. While fans have mixed reactions to the news, some have taken it way too far.
Paparazzi photos emerged of Kristen with a camera crew that ignited rumors of her Pump Rules return. She was looking casual in the photos, probably because she was focused on taking care of Ariana in her time of need. Well, according to Page Six, the trolls were trolling. They called out Kristen for looking “fat” and “horrible” in the photos. Others went as far as to shame her for not picking a glam outfit for her TV return as if she’s not focused on other things. Let’s be serious — we’re all scrolling Instagram in stained sweatpants and dirty hair. The pot should never call the kettle black.
Kristen saw the trolls’ comments loud and clear. She took a screenshot of a comments section full of nasty remarks and sarcastically wrote “good morning…” on her Instagram Story. It’s sad that people have to go low to criticize people. Kristen has done plenty of bad things in the past for us to criticize her for. No literally — a laundry list of bad decisions. It’s unnecessary to poke fun at her or anyone’s body. Knock it off and do better VPR fans.
