Season 13 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is featuring the same feud we’ve been watching for years. But now a completely new one has ignited between Jennifer Aydin and Dolores Catania.
Jennifer came right out of the gate on the premiere episode, yelling at Dolores that she wasn’t a good enough friend to her during her issues with castmate Margaret Josephs. When Dolores refused to give in to Jennifer’s ranting, the mom of five stormed off. And snarked that Dolores looked like “an old f–king handbag.” Going after someone else’s looks is very uncool.
Now Jennifer is sharing the fallout from her little tantrum. As reported by heavy, Jennifer joined an episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to discuss. According to her, Dolores was pissed after watching the premiere.
Jennifer shared, “She wasn’t happy about watching the premiere. She called me up, you know, ultimately screaming at me. And I was like ‘calm down, calm down,’ and if I didn’t care about our friendship, I would have been like ‘f–k you, you said s–t to me.’ But I didn’t. I wouldn’t. Not to her,” the mom of five added.

Jennifer added that she ultimately apologized for insulting Dolores’ looks. “When she called me, I was like ‘I’m really sorry, like, I don’t know what more I could say,’ and I’m like ‘we’ve come so far, I would hate for you to just like take something that I said in the heat of the moment and just ride with it’ and she was like ‘what else did you say about me?’ And I’m like ‘I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t remember, I’m so sorry,’” Jennifer revealed.
As for Dolores’ take on the fight, she said in early February that she was caught off guard by the whole thing. She explained, “I really wasn’t looking for that. It had been so long since we were in New York [at the Season 12 reunion] I thought, maybe, when I saw her at the roller skating party, that we would just at least say hello to each other, but she kept, like, running away from me.”
Dolores continued, “I didn’t expect to speak to her at the next [event], but I didn’t want them left out either, so it just wasn’t the time or place when I wanna speak to somebody about what’s going on.”
But during a recent interview on “New York Live“, Jennifer stated that she is “in a much better place” with Dolores. She noted, “When you have real love like I do for Dolores, I feel like then it is hopeful.”
