Last month, Jen Shah received a prison sentence of 6.5 years for her role in a telemarketing scam. Since her fate has been determined, it seems like a no-brainer for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans to revisit Heather Gay’s black eye.
Yes, now all can speak freely and speculate whether Jen was the one to inflict the injuries on her ex-ride or die bestie. The RHSOLC crew was on a cast trip in San Diego. After a night of heavy partying, Heather woke up with a black eye and scratches all over her arm. She had no recollection of what happened, and appealed to her cast mates for the culprit to come forward.
Lala Kent shared her opinion while on Watch What Happens Live recently. And her finger is pointed firmly at Jen. “I think it’s from a cast member,” the Give Them Lala Beauty founder said.
Page Six reported that host Andy Cohen also suspected Jen. During the episode, Andy then asked, “From Jen Shah? I do too,” he said. “I don’t think she hit her head on a cabinet and got scratches on her arm.”
At the time the incident occurred, Heather seemed confused and emotional. “I blacked out,” she recalled during Part 1 of the RHOSLC reunion. “I don’t know how it happened.” Heather added, “I woke up terrified. I had my phone plugged in, I was in pajamas.”
At times, she flipped between saying she didn’t remember and that she didn’t want to say what happened. Heather attributed this behavior to being “scared” that her co-stars would “rewrite the narrative” if they knew she couldn’t remember what happened. “I have no idea, I have no memory,” she recalled telling production.
The RHOSLC cast started speculating. Jen was the main suspect. Whatever damage control Heather was trying to do with her conflicting statements backfired.
Whitney Rose, for one, made her feelings clear in her confessional. “I would think it was Jen,” she said. “Like, what if Heather ticked off Jen, and Jen hit her? Does she think this is gonna be bad for her trial?”
Heather then apologized for causing confusion. She said, “And then it spun out of control after that, and I take full responsibility, and I’m really sorry. It’s terrifying.”
In the RHOSLC episode in question, Heather texted Jen, asking her to come to the room to decide on “a good cover story.”
“I don’t wanna get anyone in trouble, Jen,” Heather told her friend. “So that’s why I need you to help me figure out if someone wants to talk about what really happened last night.”
But Bravo did their due diligence regarding Heather’s injuries. However, despite probing further into the issues, the network “didn’t find anything, and there was no additional footage.”
Jen meanwhile, is due to report to prison on Friday, February 17, 2023. She got inked with two new tattoos in her last days as a free woman.
TELL US- ARE YOU SURPRISED ANDY ADMITTED TO SUSPECTING JEN? DO YOU THINK JEN GAVE HEATHER THE INJURIES? ARE YOU SURPRISED BRAVO COULDN’T COME TO ANY CONCLUSION AS TO WHAT HAPPENED?
