Former Chrisley Knows Best Stars Todd And Julie Chrisley Fought About Todd’s Lying Before Prison Sentencing

We know how it turned out. What we don’t know are the dynamics between Todd Chrisley and wife Julie Chrisley prior to being sentenced for bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. That’s a whole lot of frauding going on. As a result of their crimes, Julie and Todd are spending a combined time of roughly 19 years in jail.

Chrisley Knows Best had a run time of 10 seasons, which is impressive for a program that didn’t get a lot of promotion. You might not have been watching the show, but the Feds never missed an episode. In November 2022, the USA Network cancelled the show due to their legal issues. They did manage to squeeze out 4 episodes in Season 10 before Johnny Law gave them a new place to live.

In the premiere episode, Todd and Julie did what they usually do – bicker. But this time felt a little different. Probably because Julie knew she was headed to the slammer and is finally sick of Todd’s shit. Todd and Julie were moving for the 837th time and Todd wasn’t exactly truthful about the state of their new house. Us Weekly details the drama.

During the episode, Julie tried to shed some light on the fact that they were ONCE AGAIN changing houses. “Being married to Todd means you’re never going to call a place home for very long.” I mean–they’re both pretty well settled in a longterm living environment at this point. Problem solved!

Julie added, “It keeps me stressed and unsettled. And the only reason I agreed to move into this new house is because it was turn-key. I’m just excited to move in, unpack, and be done.” Unfortunately for Julie, not only did Todd lie to the banks, he lied to her about the condition of the interior. She wanted turn-key, so naturally he gutted the whole thing.

Todd said, “Julie, listen, it’s like if you go have your eyes done, then you realize you need to have your neck done. And then you need to have an upper lift and a lower lift.” Come on Julie! You steal from one bank, so then you steal from a bigger bank, and THEN you start doctoring papers!

Julie wasn’t amused and checked Todd for not being honest. Too little too late? She said, “Why did you lie to me?” Todd replied, “OK, let’s find a question that’s a little easier.” This is probably the same thing he said to the judge. But Julie was apparently over his nonsense. “I’m just done with it. I’m over it. I feel like we are at a stage of our life where we need to find where we’re going to settle.” Mission accomplished?

Julie continued, “I want Grayson [Chrisley] to be settled the last few years he’s at home before he goes to college. Chloe [Chrisley] is nine. She likes stability. Not doing a house and selling it and moving to another one and selling it. I’m just tired of that. And not to mention, you lied to me, Todd.” Julie, the line of people Todd lied to forms at the left.

In other news, it would be safe to say both Grayson and Chloe are decidedly UNsettled because their parents cared more about money than family and are both in jail. Hmmm, I feel like I’ve done this storyline before.

The episode had a happy ending but Todd and Julie did not. The couple are currently incarcerated and remain in denial steadfast they have done nothing wrong and have been wrongly treated by the justice system. Their financial and legal issues will not be addressed on Season 10 of Chrisley Knows Prison Best.

TELL US- ARE YOU WATCHING THE NEW SEASON OF CHRISLEY KNOWS BEST? WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE SENTENCING THEY RECEIVED? DO YOU THINK TODD AND JULIE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PLEA DEAL LIKE JEN SHAH?
