BravoCon 2022 was how many months ago? It doesn’t matter because we’re all still having intense flashbacks. From the wild panels to the unexpected run-ins with Bravolebrities, it was truly a weekend for the books. My feet are still recovering. My soul is still recovering, and apparently, so is Guerdy Abraira’s.
In a recent interview with Page Six’s podcast, Virtual Reali-Tea, the Real Housewives of Miami star reminisced on the insanity of BravoCon. She shared that one of her biggest takeaways from the weekend was a questionable encounter with none other than Kenya Moore.
Of course, a run-in with Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kenya can only go one of two ways. You can meet the big-smiled and big-hearted pageant queen, or you can meet the ice-cold shade assassin. At Bravocon, it sounds like Guerdy met the latter.
“I had one [encounter] that really kind of, like, broke my soul in a way because I … fix crowns,” Guerdy shared on the podcast. “And maybe it wasn’t shady on purpose because [we were] so all over the place,” she continued.

Still, it sounds like the encounter was just shady enough to leave an impression.
“I saw Kenya, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, Kenya, hi!'” Guerdy recalled. She took a stab at a Kenya Moore impression. “And she goes, ‘Oh, hi …Which show are you on again?’ Like that.”
Ouch. That would make anyone’s heart sink, but in Kenya’s defense, there were over a hundred Bravolebrities at the convention. At the time, Guerdy was still a first-season Housewife. Maybe by the time BravoCon 2023 rolls around, Kenya will recognize her as one of the faces of RHOM.
Although it could be considered an honor to receive a little shade from a legend like Kenya, how does someone even respond in a moment like that? It sounds like Guerdy took it in stride.
She recalled her reaction: “And I was like, ‘OK, OK, ma’am. Moving right along. OK, queen.’… But the way she said it, it was kind of like, ‘Hey, be nice. Be nice, you know?'”
“I love Atlanta, of course, and I think she’s a queen. I mean, she is the queen,” Guerdy continued, recognizing Kenya’s status as a veteran Housewife. “She’s amazing. So it was a little disappointing that was the response … [But] all good in my hood, trust me. Listen, honey, onward always,” she added.
