Melissa Gorga is not here for the haters. The longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey star has faced plenty of rumors about herself and her marriage to husband Joe Gorga. But as Season 13 of the hit franchise is teasing, the latest infidelity rumors are back and bigger than ever.
This season’s RHONJ trailer showed castmate Jennifer Aydin sharing the rumor that Melissa was seen making out with another man! But Melissa is quick to laugh off the rumors this time around. She recently told E! News, “Typical.”
The mom of three then added, “What are we gonna do if we don’t say Melissa is like this this season? She’s a stripper, she’s that, she’s this, she’ll leave him for a richer man. Meanwhile, my marriage is lasting the longest and holding the strongest, so it’s kind of funny.”
Given last year’s revelation that husband Bill Aydin cheated on Jennifer a decade ago, Melissa finds the infidelity rumors about her especially suspect. “It’s almost like they try to put on you what’s happening in their lives, which is very sad,” Melissa shared.
She continued, “What they said about me was just a big game of telephone through 50 people and it got nice little wings on it by the time it got to TV, which is such a joke to me. It’s like you guys could do better than that.”

As far as her 19-year marriage to Joe, Melissa maintained, “People know Joe and I. They know who we are as a couple, as people.”
Addressing where the gossip might be coming from, Melissa suggested it was someone “trying to be on our show.” She added, “Someone wants to be a Housewife so they’re like, ‘What do I need to do to ruffle feathers to get Bravo to notice me?’ And it never works for them.”
The Envy boutique owner then recalled when Kim DePaola dragged sister-in-law Teresa Giudice into the claims that Melissa used to be a stripper during Season 4. Melissa went on, “It’s like here we go again. What can we say Melissa does wrong or what can we lie about or who can we find? What person from her past will be jealous and pissed and have them talk s–t on her? It never works girls. Enough,” she added.
So, does Melissa think that Tre was partaking in the cheating rumors about her? “I know she did, yes,” Melissa declared.
