If you haven’t seen the new Peacock original series, The Traitors, do yourself a favor and RUN to your TV to binge this new game show. If you’re a fan of Big Brother and Survivor, and enjoy manipulation and scheming, then The Traitors might be for you.
Reality TV legends such as Brandi Glanville from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kate Chastain from Below Deck, and Rachel Reilly from Big Brother are part of the cast. So are regular folks. The cast members take viewers on an engaging (and frustrating) ride as they competed in challenges to win $250,000.
The cast lived in an actual castle lin the Scottish Highlands. Alan Cumming hosted the show. Out of the group of 20 contestants, three were selected as the “traitors.” The others were “faithfuls.”
The group’s traitors had the difficult task of blending in with the rest of the cast. They lead everyone to believe they were faithfuls. Secretly they murdered their co-stars one by one.
The series was filled with lies, tears, and shouting matches. Many fans called on the streaming service to host a reunion for the cast. There were many revelations that cast members couldn’t react to because they were given the boot. Thankfully, the powers that be have come through.

According to Deadline, Peacock will stream The Traitor’s Season 1 reunion on February 28, 2023. Andy Cohen confirmed that he is hosting via his Twitter account. The streaming platform announced the series has been renewed for a second season.
“The Traitors is an ambitious, highly addictive and spontaneous format that keeps contestants and viewers on their toes,” stated Corie Henson, EVP Entertainment Unscripted Content, NBCUniversal. “Alan Cumming is a well-dressed genius, the producers at Studio Lambert are brilliant storytellers and the show is the perfect mix of drama and suspense to keep our Traitors and Faithfuls craving more.”
Stephen Lambert, CEO of Studio Lambert, added, “We hugely enjoyed making the US version of this hit format with NBC and giving Peacock’s audience a highly bingeable murder mystery game full of intrigue and dramatic twists.”
He continued, “This is the game which shows how people judge each other, often leaping to false conclusions, in a way that’s revealing and entertaining, and we’re excited to be making a second season with Alan as together we build on the success of the first.”
