Teresa Giudice will soon have more sister-in-law to deal with. But this time she’s happy about it. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is getting married to fiance Luis “Louie” Ruelas in August. And will end up gaining a sister in Dr. Veronica Ruelas. The two seem to get along extremely well. Veronica is even rumored to be a bridesmaid in the wedding. But after posting a picture on Instagram posing with Veronica and Louie’s other sister, Jennifer Ruelas, ex-husband Joe Giudice took notice.
He wrote in the comments, “Is the tall one married?” While some thought it was out of line, Tre could care less. And she got a good laugh out of it too. She told Page Six,“I think it’s funny. It’s awesome.” Teresa added of Veronica, “She’s going on the market soon. She’s too tall for him. She would never go for him. He likes tall women. When I wore high heels, I think he was like an inch taller than me, but he has dated taller women than him, so he does like it, but I don’t think Veronica would like it.”
When asked if Veronica might be interested in joining RHONJ, Teresa played coy. She stated, “Never say never.” And since Teresa is never going to miss a moment to shade current sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, she thew in a barb. Said Teresa, “Oh yeah, I’m sure they would tell me first. I’m sure they would.” Teresa is referencing her years long feud with Melissa over whether or not Melissa notified her that she was cast on the show.
Even if Veronica was interested in Juicy, he currently resides in the Bahamas after leaving his native Italy. He was deported in 2018 after serving 3 years in prison for fraud. Teressa and Joe separated in 2019 and their divorce was finalized less than a year later. Teresa got engaged to Louie in October of 2021 after dating for a little over a year.
Despite Joe sharing that he thinks Teresa and Louie “moved a bit quick into this romance,” Tre stated that the two get along. she revealed last year, “They like each other. We went to the Bahamas and we went to go see Joe, and Louie DM’ed Joe behind my back. I didn’t even know. He’s like, ‘We’re coming out there. I would like for us to all have dinner.’ Joe thinks Louie’s a great guy.” Joe confirmed and remarked, “I’m glad she found her true love…And [I] wish them all the best.”
