Drew Sidora definitely has her hands full of drama this season. The second-year Real Housewives of Atlanta star has multiple storylines, but none of them are particularly in her favor. She’s fighting with returning veteran Sheree Whitfield, the ladies are shading the hell out of her “workout program,” and her marital troubles seem to be escalating. But when it comes to her marriage, Drew has found an unlikely supporter.
On a recent episode of RHOA, they headed to New York City for a cast trip. While out to dinner, things got heated between Drew and her husband, Ralph Pittman. Despite being incredibly sneaky about his female assistant, Ralph tells the table that he wants Drew to drop it (no pun intended). And that’s where Kenya Moore steps in to to explain to Ralph why he is a complete jerk. It was a fabulous moment of women sticking up for women and fans were here for it.
So was Drew, who made a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live and discussed the incident. Host Andy Cohen asked, “I was wondering how you felt about Kenya kind of going after Ralph at that dinner. Because she was being protective of you, which I thought was really interesting. And she expressed that many times. What was your reaction to that? Were you grateful for it?”
Drew responded, “I was grateful because I felt like I’m not crazy, another woman shares my sentiments and we haven’t even talked.” Andy broke in to ask if Ralph was pissed. Drew admitted, “He was hurt. He was hurt. But he understands, you know, he’s learning. And I think that was a very pivotal moment for him to hear from someone else.”
There’s no doubt that Kenya and Drew have more in common than they might think. Kenya had a rocky relationship with now estranged husband, Marc Daly since their 2017 wedding. They had their daughter Brooklyn Daly one year later but things quickly crumbled for the couple. Kenya filed for divorce in 2019 in Atlanta, while Marc continued to reside in New York, which contributed to the breakdown of their union.
It’s unclear where Drew’s marriage is going. The couple is currently in therapy and aren’t shy about sharing their struggles on camera. But regardless of what happens, it sounds like Drew has support in Kenya. As Kenya continues her own battle, I hope Drew returns the favor.
