On this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice did nothing but fight. Which is par for the course when it comes to Tre. But despite a detour into who should be wearing the leggings from her new athletic line, Teresa’s altercations all surrounded her relationship. The OG housewife found herself the subject of concern when her then-boyfriend now-fiance Luis “Louie” Ruelas came on the scene.
Louie had a questionable past, one in which he wasn’t too keen on addressing. And Teresa certainly wasn’t, lashing out and anyone and everyone who dared to get clarification. Cast member Margaret Josephs was the most vocal, which earned her drinks in her face after Tre flipped out on her at a cast dinner. She accused Marge of feeding rumors about Louie to the blogs, which is something Margaret denied. And what Teresa failed to acknowledge was that the stories about Louie were out there since she started dating him. And even before, for that matter.
Going so hard for Louie resulted in her going overboard, something that fans criticized excessively. But according to Teresa, she thinks the criticism is more about how she was portrayed and not about her actions. As reported by Reality Blurb, she recently joined good friend Dina Manzo on her podcast Dina Does… to explain. When Dina asked if she was happy how she was depicted, Tre replied, “I don’t think so. No. Obviously not.”
She’s placing the blame firmly on Margaret, who she believes pushed her too far. Said Teresa, “Margaret, how she always claims she’s so smart, you know. She knew exactly what she was doing.” Teresa remarked, “It’s like, ‘Stop poking me.’ She’s coming across like she’s so concerned, you know. Like, okay, if you are so concerned, then tell me in a nice way. If she was a real friend, she would call me off camera and explained it to me in a way that would make me understand.” Do we really believe Teresa would have accepted Marge’s concerns off camera? Doubtful.
As for not allowing Louie to respond directly to Marge’s questions, Tre is going for a new approach moving forward. She concluded, “From now on, I am going to let him speak. I was just trying to protect him.”
TELL US – DO YOU THINK TERESA WAS PORTRAYED FAIRLY THIS SEASON? SHOULD SHE HAVE JUST LET LOUIE SPEAK FOR HIMSELF TO BEGIN WITH? WHY WAS SHE SO AGAINST LOUIE SHARING HIS SIDE OF THE STORY? DO YOU THINK SHE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR?
