Stassi Schroeder’s New Book Is A New York Times Best Seller

Stassi Schroeder wrote another book. Did you buy it? Do you know anyone who did? Regardless, The Basic B*tch herself posted a *candid* video to Instagram late last week to announce she had made the New York Times bestseller list. Miss Pick-me was in the middle of getting her hair done. Making unemployment look chaotic is a job all by itself! On her post Stassi wrote, “Holy sh*t. Off With My Head is a New York Times Bestseller!!! Omg. It feels freaking unreal to be recognized twice… and please ignore the foils. Being blonde is high maintenance.”

Of course, people were confused. Literally who in their right mind is curious about a failed reality star’s take on…anything? Let alone enough to read about it. In a tweet shared by a fan, a screenshot was shared speculating on the try hard. In the picture the New York Times bestseller list is shown with Stassi’s book in 8th place along with a dagger symbol.

“Book publishing tea: if there is a dagger next to the title, that means the NYTimes suspects it’s due to bulk sales by the author, AKA buying your way onto the bestseller list,” the post explains. The caption goes on to say, “Doesn’t mean it didn’t sell a lot on it’s own, but an important asterisk. Lots of politicians, celebs, and business people do this.” What about canceled culture vultures?

Stassi has been crying “cancel culture” since her firing from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. The way she was able to keep her own podcast, a gigantic home, thousands of social media followers, and a book deal was quite the feat. How could someone *cancelled* achieve all this?? What does it even mean to be cancelled if this is the outcome?

There isn’t exactly a Yelp for TV personalities. Flocks of people announcing publicly they don’t support or like you isn’t a “cancellation” of existence. It’s feedback on your behavior from those you rely on for the fame and subsequent opportunities. I just need to put that out there. Stassi being fired from a role on a TV show because she wasn’t performing well or representing her employer in a positive light is just ‘work’.

TELL US – SHOULD WE CANCEL CANCEL CULTURE? IF NOT, CAN YOU CANCEL ME IN THE COMMENTS SO I CAN HAVE A BOOK DEAL? WHAT WILL STASSI’S NEXT MONEY MOVE BE?
