The aftermath of Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs’ epic fight in Nashville continues. It was the most dramatic episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey all season, which is saying a lot. To recap – after Marge continued to ask questions about Tre’s boyfriend (now fiance), Luis “Louie” Ruelas, Tre snapped. She accused Margaret of going to the blogs with negative stories about Louie. Which is something Marge vehemently denies. Regardless, Teresa lost her cool and threw tableware and a drink all over Marge.
Teresa had to be dragged out and ended up back at the vacation house with Louie. While they tried to make it seem like they were going to a hotel on their own, it’s alleged that production asked them to leave. For a franchise that has seen its fair share of over-the-top fights, fans were still shocked. And Margaret is still processing what happened.
She recently spoke to Us Weekly about how hard it was watching the episode air. Margaret revealed, “I actually feel worse than when I lived it because I didn’t know what she was saying off camera [or] what she was saying downstairs.” She added, “To hear her say that she’s coming to beat me up, I mean, she’s pushing 50, saying she’s gonna come beat me up? You know, that’s upsetting, obviously, it’s more upsetting to watch it back.”
To that point, Marge continued, “That was disappointing, it’s just like, you know, threatening physical violence [isn’t right].” But Margaret doesn’t have regrets about how she personally behaved during the fight. She explained, “I mean, this isn’t Mob Wives. I mean, cut me a break. I was calm. I was never going to do something back.”
Margaret then referenced the infamous ponytail pull of season 1o when Teresa encouraged Danielle Staub on to pull Marge’s hair. She recalled, “What is disturbing to me is after the ponytail pull and that year, she said she was gonna do everything to make it up to me. We also decided after the ponytail pull, there will never be any physicality amongst us and that went totally down the tubes.”
Marge maintained of her relationship with Teresa, “I’ve given her a lot of passes. I’ve given her one too many passes. I just [filmed] the reunion and she doesn’t have any remorse. I could laugh about it, but you know, like, she’s not one to really have a lot of remorse.”
Another thing Margaret took issue with was Tre’s continued body shaming. Teresa first cracked jokes about Marge’s body during a charity softball game. She did so again in the most recent episode of RHONJ, saying that Marge always makes time to eat.
Said Marge, “You give a lame apology, then you insult me and body-shame me and you know, say, ‘Well, at least she got she got this.’ It’s so rude and degrading and you know, and you think it’s funny, it’s not cute. It’s never cute. I was pissed [and] agitated.”

Marge concluded, “Thank God I’m tough [and] strong, but if it was anybody else and any young woman, you know, that could really cut somebody and on a season when we’re talking about eating disorders which [Teresa] didn’t really know about. I don’t know where your head is that you think that’s acceptable. It’s never acceptable to body-shame anybody. We’re in an era of body positivity.”
