On a recent episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey, the house-husbands took center stage. And the men made sure to follow the housewives playbook. After chasing off Bill Aydin by insulting his wife, the men had to quickly pivot. Enter Luis “Louie” Ruelas to the party. Obviously, being Teresa Giudice’s (then boyfriend, now fiancé) is going to put you under the microscope. But Tre didn’t get the memo and has spent the entire season mad at anyone who dares to even ask him a question. She has whined over and over that it’s none of anyone’s business. But it is. You’re on reality tv. You knowingly brought him onto the show. And he has quite a past. People are gonna ask about it, so buckle up and suck it up, Tre.
But speaking of memos that weren’t received, let’s talk about Tiki Barber. He may only be the husband of “friend of” Traci Barber, but he was the proverbial pot-stirrer at the men’s get together. There were rumors that Louie was abusive to a woman in his past relationship. So Tiki took one for the team and asked. Louie came up with some convoluted story about how there was no physical violence, his ex is a thirsty woman, oh and this ex also previously stabbed her former husband with a butcher knife. So naturally, he got engaged to her. Ermmmm, ok? Once Tre found out, she was livid.
As reported by Reality Blurb, Teresa took to an episode of the RHONJ: After Show to whine about it some more. When asked if she thought Tiki was out of line, Tre obviously thought so. She said, “I think so yes, like, a million percent. Usually, guys don’t do their woman’s dirty work. They just don’t.” Tre, hunny. You cannot be serious. They have a whole segment with the men only. What did you think they were there to do?
She went on and made the ludicrous suggestion that Louie should have said to Tiki, “If your wife has any questions, she should ask Teresa.” Why can’t Louie, a whole grown man, answer questions for himself? Especially given that he refused to even let Teresa talk when Margaret Josephs asked him the barest of minimums about himself.
Tre continued, “I wouldn’t ask Luis to do my dirty work. If I wanted to find out something, I would ask the woman, whoever I’m friends with. Instead of asking, ‘Oh, babe, can you ask Tiki Barber about if his affair really did happen that way?’” She concluded, “I wouldn’t do that. That’s just not the way I roll.”
So the hypocrisy continues. The question is – how far can Tre take it this season before everyone says “enough.”
TELL US – WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT TRE’S POV ON TIKI? DO YOU THINK HE WAS DOING TRACI’S DIRTY WORK? WHY IS NO ONE ALLOWED TO QUESTION LOUIE? WHY IS HE EVEN ON THE SHOW IF THEY CAN’T?
