Love Is Blind Star Deepti Vempati Open To Relationship With Kyle Abrams; Says "We'll See Where It Goes"

So you’re saying there’s a chance? Love Is Blind’s Deepti Vempati quickly became America’s sweetheart after we watched her choose her worth over some dingus at the altar. The dingus I’m referring to (as if you didn’t know) is Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee. The veterinarian, part-time DJ, and dating show super villain dogged Deepti out behind her back throughout their engagement. It got back to her, she dumped him and the rest is history.

Well, not entirely. At the reunion episode, Shake made things even worse for himself just by talking. But one good thing did come out of the reunion for Deepti – Kyle Abrams. Kyle, who was briefly engaged to Shaina Hurley, didn’t even make it to the altar before they broke up. And he openly admitted that he played it all wrong. Said Kyle, “Biggest regret is I should have asked Deepti to marry me. That’s what I learned the most. I f—ked up. I should have tried harder for you. I love her so much, she’s the best. And I wish I saw what was right in front of me and that’s my biggest regret. I’m sorry.” SWOON!

Now he might actually have a chance to right his wrong. As reported by E! News, Deepti seems to be weighing her options outside of the pods. Said Deepti, “I actually have no regrets. Who knows, if I did pick Kyle what if—because we were under a microscope—maybe we wouldn’t have worked out.” What we didn’t know was how close she may have come to picking Kyle. Deepti revealed, “I don’t think a lot of people know this, because they didn’t show it on camera, but Kyle was my No. 2 person in the pods.” She added, “I was really on the fence about if I should choose Shake or go with Kyle.”

As for Shake, sounds like he knew that Kyle was better suited for Deepti in the end. In a previous interview with E! News, Shake said he doesn’t trust Kyle. Like most of us with Shake, Deepti doesn’t get it. She confessed, “Kyle has never done anything to Shake. Kyle and I were close, so I don’t know if that’s where it stemmed from, but he knew that we were close this entire time, so it’s nothing new for him. It was confusing to me just like the rest of the world, honestly.”

Now that Deepti and Kyle’s Tik Tok teasing a relationship went viral, she sounds optimistic. Said Deepti, “I think we can do things our own way now. So, we’ll see where it goes.” And about that statement from Kyle wishing that he would have proposed? Deepti demurred, “I thought that was very sweet. We built a strong foundation in the pods…So you know, it’s not just out of nowhere.”
