File this one under what the what? Chloe Trautman from Siesta Key is married? I had no idea she had a boyfriend, let alone was affianced. How is this possible?
I’ve been watching Siesta Key since its inception. If you haven’t, think Laguna Beach meets The Hills and moves to Florida. Same storylines, different ocean. Chloe is the resident pot stirrer. The Kristin Cavallari, of the East Coast, if you will. If there is drama, it’s a pretty good bet she started it. But, through all of her scheming, not once has she been shown with a boyfriend on the show.
To be fair, Chloe did leave the show in the middle of Season 4, to focus on a more practiced and centered life. A life that wouldn’t include alcohol or gossip but would include meditation. Totally believe her. Cough, cough.
So, it stands to reason that we wouldn’t have necessarily met a boyfriend. We were privy to plenty of drama between swimsuit design competitors Juliette Porter and Kelsey Owens. We also got to see the engagement and pregnancy announcement between Madisson Hausberg and ex-show producer Ish Soto. But there was no mention of Chloe meeting anyone special.
Season 4 of Siesta Key filmed at the end of 2020 and aired in May of 2021. Apparently, Chloe went Instagram official with her new boo, Chris Long, that same month. According to Page Six, the two were engaged six months later.
Chloe announced the engagement via her Insta feed, saying, “Yesterday I said YES to my soulmate in Fairyland. From the moment I met Chris I knew he was the one. I am in a state of pure bliss and I can’t believe I get to spend my life with my best friend!!!” I have a hard time picturing Chloe hiking willingly, she’s more of the yoga on the beach type. But I will assume this is part of her new lifestyle.
Chloe and Chris certainly didn’t waste any time getting down the aisle. When you know, you know. They had a beachside ceremony (see, I told you… she’s a beach girl) on February 20, 2022. Siesta Key costars: Madisson, Juliette, and Amanda Miller joined other friends and family in the celebration.
Chloe “wore a white, long-sleeved lace gown for the beachside nuptials. She later changed into an equally eye-catching lace jumpsuit for their alien-themed reception complete with inflatable aliens hanging from the ceiling.” As you do.
