The Below Deck reunion may have just aired, closing out Season 9, but don’t despair. The premier of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 is just around the corner. And, thanks to a jam-packed trailer, we have a lot of high-seas hijinks to look forward to.
Season 3 has some big shoes to fill. Season 2 gave us all the drama, thanks to a group of yachties that managed to make it through an entire season without getting fired. Say what?!?! There was the dramatic love connection between second stew Dani Soares and deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux that eventually ended. Albeit not before they made a baby and fought over paternity. How nice.
And how can we forget the love triangle between first mate Gary King, Alli Dore, and Sydney Zaruba? Personally, I don’t see the appeal, but maybe that’s just me? While Alli has attempted to explain it, we’ll never really know what happened between the threesome on their crossing to Spain.
Chef stew Daisy Kelliher and Gary repeatedly butted heads, thanks in part to Gary’s ill-timed smoke breaks and refusals to help out the interior when asked. But times, they are a changing and it looks like the relationship between Daisy and Gary has turned the tide. Spoiler alert… the two can be seen making out in the season 3 trailer.
According to Us Weekly, Gary and Daisy were spotted spending the day together at Disneyland and documented their time on Instagram. Gary posted a picture of the two of them, with a cheeky comment.
“Hey guys, just because many of you are asking, Daisy and I are dating.” This was shared with dripping sarcasm and a good dose of laughter from both Gary and Daisy. However, how many times have we watched Bravolebrities go out on a limb to deny a relationship, only to admit to it later? Looking at you Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke. I’m holding out on a verdict for this one.
Daisy also took to Instagram during their day out to comment on their outing, “Taking the big child out for [the] day.” How cute. And how very noncommittal.
Daisy used Instagram to comment on the trailer make-out scene, saying, “I feel like that was my alternate personality. We need to name her, but that definitely wasn’t me. I’m really enjoying how many people’s minds are blown [about Gary]. No one’s mind was more blown than mine the next day. I have no recollection of that kiss. What can I say, I’m not picky when it comes to making out with people. I’ll pretty much make out with anyone.” Sure Jan. Me thinks you doth protest too much.
We’ll have to wait to see how this plays out on Season 3, especially since it looks like Gary will be kissing more than just Daisy. But I for one, will be watching very closely.
