Not making it nice! We all know that Dorinda Medley is not one to be messed with. The former Real Housewives of New York star spent season after season going after any castmate that dared to cross her. And while she could be so lovable, fans finally got tired of her seemingly drunken take downs and low blows. Dorinda got fired from the show and ultimately admitted later she probably should have taken a step back.
But she’s back for Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip season 2 and up against another heavy drinking trouble maker – Brandi Glanville. The one time Real Housewives of Beverly Hills antics included everything from accusing Kim Richards to being on crystal meth, to slapping Lisa Vanderpump in the face. Brandi is a chaotic mess and has a mouth, not to mention Twitter account, to match.
So it’s not all that surprising that Dorinda and Brandi might clash. As reported by Reality Blurb, on a recent episode of her podcast, Brandi spoke about her time on RHUGT. The cast stayed at Dorinda’s famous Blue Stone Manor. Brandi quipped to new friend and fellow castmate Vicki Gunvalson, “I called it ‘Dead Stone Manor.’ All we did was talk about death… There’s like three ex-husbands who were dead.” Brandi also shared the clip of their conversation to Instagram.

Dorinda, who is especially protective of her deceased husband, Richard Medley, wasn’t laughing. She commented on Brandi’s post, “Loss is a terrible terrible experience. I guess they find it funny.” Dorinda also tagged castmates Taylor Armstrong and Jill Zarin. Taylor’s filed for divorce from husband Russell Armstrong in 2011 and he died by suicide one month later. Jill lost her husband (and one of our all time favorite househusbands) Bobby Zarin to cancer in 2018.
Brandi being Brandi, snapped back at her in the comments. She said, “Settle down Dorinda. These are two different clips from the interview. No one is laughing at anyones loss.” The comment was in poor taste, which is typical of Brandi, and I’m not sure how she is justifying that because there were two separate clips. Saying “Dead Stone Manor” because all they talked about is death pretty much explains it all.

Fans argued in the comments with one defending Brandi. The user posted, “goodness, she didn’t make fun of it! I don’t like talking about death either. Because it’s a heavy subject!!!!!!!! And especially on girls trip, have some happy times!” But another fan was firmly Team Dorinda and added, “When it comes to Dorinda, Brandi needs to CLIP!!!”
