There is so much happening on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City right now that I can barely keep it all straight. And much of the drama involves Meredith Marks, our queen of disengagement who is now engaging with everyone.
Meredith questioned why her longtime friend and RHOSLC star Lisa Barlow was standing beside Jen Shah after she was arrested for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. Meredith was also angry with Jen for reposting and “liking” homophobic social media posts about her son, Brooks Marks. Lisa was aware of this but continued to support Jen. It is obvious that there was a shift in this longtime friendship.
During the RHOSLC cast trip to Zion, everything went left. Jen accused Meredith of calling the feds, a story that she allegedly heard from Heather Gay. Meredith denied any involvement and was insulted that her supposed friends would accuse her of doing that.
The ladies semi-squashed their beef for the night. But in the morning, they were awakened by a rampaging Meredith, screaming all over the house. Heather, Jen, and Whitney Rose hid under a blanket to avoid Meredith’s wrath. I don’t blame them one bit.
It turns out that Lisa told Meredith in the middle of the night that her co-stars questioned whether Meredith was actually at her father’s memorial service in Aspen. As you may recall, that is why Meredith didn’t take the van to Vail with the other ladies.
The teaser for the next episode of RHOSLC is shocking. After a dispute, Lisa shut herself behind a closed door, and yelled, “Meredith can go f–k herself. I’m done with her. I f–king hate her. She’s a whore. She’s f–ked half of New York.” @Christiangraysnow on Instagram shared a slide with the quotes. Damn!
Last season, Meredith and her husband, Seth Marks’, marriage was in a fragile place. Meredith shared that in the past, the duo had separated and dated other people. According to Meredith, now their marriage is “probably the strongest we’ve ever been together.”

Page Six reported that Meredith told a follower during a Twitter Q&A that she “should” leave RHOSLC. “Question is for Meredith, why are you still on the show? It seems like you hate it,” a follower asked.
Meredith responded, “Good question. I should quit since most of the women enjoy spreading lies about me and my family. Not a problem.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Lisa was asked about Meredith deleting a birthday post for Lisa from December. Lisa stated, “I’m sure it’s based on the next episode. I have a little rant that I’m not proud of,” Lisa commented. “But I hit my boiling point.”
Meredith will disengage from her relationship with Lisa after that tirade. I cannot imagine what happened to cause Lisa to blow up her friendship with Meredith.
