I honestly hate how interested I am in the Kardashian family relationship dynamics these days. Mainly, the breakdown of Kimye. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been going through a highly publicized divorce, and saying that there have been ups and downs is putting it lightly. Kanye, who legally changed his name to Ye, has been publicly begging for the mother of his kids to take him back. While Kimmy is trying to keep things cordial with Ye, she’s moving on as a single lady.
Kim made headlines a few weeks back when she began dating SNL star Pete Davidson, because that’s the trendy thing to do these days. Even though Kanye has literally been publically pleading for Kim to take him back (and threatening Pete in his new songs), he’s been pursuing a whirlwind relationship with actress Julia Fox. It’s all pretty fishy to me, from the quick timeline of the relationship to the fact that Ye seemingly just wanted a Kim stand-in until she eventually decided to crawl back to him (not gonna happen). Oh, and they’re all neighbors now. I hope we get to see this all go down on Hulu’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians revamp.

Julia’s take on her new man only seems to further speculation that the relationship is fake. She wrote an entire public diary entry about their first date for a magazine. It’s honestly pretty cringy, especially because Julia is a self-admitted KUWTK fan. But on a recent episode of her podcast, via Entertainment Tonight, Julia is denying that the “love” between her and Kanye is all for publicity. Yeah, sureeeee.
“I’m getting all of this attention, but I really couldn’t care,” Julia said on her Forbidden Fruits podcast. “People are like, ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame. You’re in it for the clout. You’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.” OK cool flex I guess? Like what are we supposed to deduct from this? That you’re genuine because you only date billionaires? Nice try, but it’s clear Julia does not have the media machine of Kris Jenner to back up her stances. And Kanye’s public stunts aren’t exactly helping this narrative.
