Vicki Gunvalson is ready to get her groove back! Or fill her love tank. Or whatever you want to call it – she’s moving on! After dealing the crappy news that ex-fiance Steve Lodge quickly moved on and got engaged three months after their breakup, Vicki wants to put herself out there again. And like Steve, the Real Housewives of Orange County star isn’t going to waste any time.
As reported by Page Six, Vicki recently appeared on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast to discuss. She dished to friend and host Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave about her plans to find a love connection through a matchmaker. Vicki revealed, “I’m on my fourth date with a guy from Chicago with the matchmaker. He’s picking me up from the airport when I get to Chicago.” Vicki was indeed spotting with a mystery man on a date in Chicago right after the holidays. So I think it’s safe to assume this is the same gentleman caller.
Despite spending the last three weeks at her home in Mexico, Vicki said “[He] and I are gonna see each other next week when I’m in town.” She hasn’t named him but did note that he’s 55 years old. Vicki added, “He’s in Chicago, because I will only date a Midwestern man. … We’ll be on date four next week.” While four dates is hardly a relationship, it’s a promising start! Sounds like the matchmaker did their job. Patti Stanger could never!

As for the qualities she’s looking for in a new man, Vicki had plenty of requirements. They include “good teeth,” “non-smoker,” “family man,” “self-sufficient,” “entrepreneur,” “must love Jesus” and “confident,” and many others. LOL forever at her including “good teeth” after she famously dropped thousands to fix ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ jacked up chompers. Guess she learned her lesson there. Vicki also admitted, “I want a relationship. … I want a non-lying, perfect relationship, which is what I thought I had with my fiance.” As in, ex-fiance.
Vicki also revealed that she “didn’t want to lose” Steve so on while on her last seasons of RHOC, she was “toning it down.” She believes this lead her to being let go from the franchise she helped create.
As for Steve’s recent engagement, Vicki confessed, “I’ll never be over him, because to me, when you fall in love with somebody as deep as I did, you don’t just move out of somebody’s house and into the next one.”
