Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave’s days on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are over. But that doesn’t mean she wants to stop talking about it. The former housewife was let go after season 10. And according to her, it wasn’t in the most ceremonious of ways. Teddi said at the time, “Of course, I could give you the standard response of ‘Oh, we both came to the decision that it would be best.’ I’m not gonna do that. That’s not who I am. Of course, when I got the news, I was sad.”
She admitted, “It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast and crew and you get to do incredible things that you would probably never get to experience without, you know, the show.”
But Teddi didn’t stay away for long, even giving us a cameo on season 11. Much to housewife Garcelle Beauvais’ annoyance. Garcelle griped in one confessional, “I don’t know she’s just kind of annoying for no reason like a little gnat.” So yeah, it’s fair to say that Teddi’s cameo wasn’t exactly welcomed.
Now Teddi is opening up about her feelings about her firing and how it went down. As reported by Reality Blurb, Teddi took to the podcast she shares with Tamra Judge, Two T’s In A Pod. Teddi revealed, “At the end of my season, I was mad. I texted, the quote I texted was: ‘I’ve trended on Twitter every single week from hate and you aren’t giving me anything else but the negative. Please, I’m doing the work, I’m showing up. I need you to show my life in some other capacity.’ And ultimately, the goodbye happened two weeks later.” She added, “I was completely surprised.”

Part of what was so upsetting to Teddi is that she felt she had “such a great relationship with production.” She also disclosed that she had already met with production to discuss her storyline for the next season. Said Teddi of being let go, “I absolutely had no idea. I do know there was a new show-runner so there were changes being made. When my friend texted me and he’s like, ‘Hey it’s in the Daily Mail that you got fired,’ I was like, [laughing].”
Despite her appearance on last season, Teddi doesn’t think it will be happening again anytime soon. She was present while filming at Kyle Richards’ store opening in Palm Springs. But she isn’t sure it will make it on air. Teddi added, “I am not [filming] but I did something for Extra and while I was doing that, I may or not [have been] filmed.”
