Lala Kent has had quite the year. She published her first book, Give Them Lala, which surprisingly didn’t make the New York Times Bestseller List and she took off the rose-tinted glasses she’s been wearing around Randall Emmett. Turns out the married man Lala sexed up for a range rover cheated on her too.
Lala is now talking more openly about her split with Randall. Most recently she shared that Rand is “the worst thing to ever happen” to her and also wishes that she was “warned” about him. This is a weird thing for Lala to say because we all witnessed her dismiss any negative commentary about her relationship on Vanderpump Rules. Tom Sandoval is talking all about this during the current season and Katie Maloney Schwartz and Scheana Shay called out the married man red flags in earlier seasons of the show. But it was Randall getting caught out and about with various women this year that finally made Lala see the light. Now, she’s strictly focused on her future and daughter, Ocean Emmett.
Lala spoke with People about these very things, sharing that “her future plans for more kids don’t involve a partner.” In fact, Lala stated, “I do want to have more kids.” She also shared candidly, “I don’t think there will be a dude involved. Actually, I know for a fact there will not be a dude involved if I choose to have another baby.”

Who knows if she means it because a lot can change in the years to come. She very likely could meet someone who’s better than Rand since the bar has been set so low. But also, power to Lala for considering giving it a go on her own. She’s a strong woman, with what I’m guessing is a decent income from Cameo requests, endorsements, and Pump Rules. It’s an unconventional route she could totally take and I fully support it.
But that’s further into the future. For now, Lala is enjoying her freedom. “Freedom is a really amazing thing…and you don’t even realitze that like things arent’ working until you decide or you’re forced to switch things up and you’re like, ‘Holy sh**, this life is just absolutely amazing.”
With this freedom, Lala doesn’t have any “desire to date or talk to anybody.” She just wants “to focus on the Give Them Lala brand, and my future, and just creating a beautiful life for my daughter.” Good for Lala. She’s better off on her own than with someone like Rand.
