Was I the only one gutted following Leroy Garrett’s departure from The Challenge back in May? Sure, he never won anything, but that’s not the point. It felt like the end of an era. People like Tula “Big T” Fazakerley and Cory Wharton come and go, but the OG Real Worlders are forever. Challenge viewers are entering a new dynamic where long-time players such as CT Tamburello are landing movie roles or transitioning their game to the The Challenge: All Stars. Feeling old yet?
Leroy finished out his Challenge residency in a solid and adorable relationship with Killer Kim Williams. These two were such a treat to see on screen. Especially in comparison to some of the other, thirstier, couplings. Now, they’re taking their commitment to a whole other level. On December 22nd the pair announced on social media that they are expecting their first child in June of 2022!
“We always give each other the best gifts that money can’t buy, & this is by far the best gift we’ve been able to give & ever receive,” Kam wrote on Instagram. “Feels so good to be able to announce & share that we are becoming parents!! Our journey never fails to surprise me!! I love you so much @royleethebarber & can’t wait to meet our new edition to our fam,” she added.

In the announcement, Kam and Leroy are both wearing matching holiday pajamas in front of a tree. They are holding up pictures of a sonogram. “Thank you God for this blessing, I’m beyond grateful. His timing is always right. I can’t wait to be a daddy,” Leroy wrote.
Of course, the fan favorite couple garnered several adoring comments from their fellow Challenge competitors and friends. New mom Jenna Compono and resident daddy Cory expressed their excitement quickly! Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio and Nany Carmen Gonzáles also showed love. “Okay I’m crying. Words don’t describe how proud and excited I am for the two of you,” Nany commented. Cara Maria Sorbello added, “This baby is going to change the world with parents like you I swear to God.”
Consider this world changed, because for once, I agree with Cara!
