I hope you’re sitting down, Bachelor Nation, because we’ve got some seriously shocking news for you. Former stars from The Bachelor franchise, Tayshia Adams and her fiancé, Zac Clark have called it quits. Wait – you’re not shocked a couple from The Bachelor broke up? True love isn’t real!
In all seriousness, it seems Tayshia and Zac have parted amicably. According to E! News, “her rep confirms” they are “no longer a couple.” Tayshia relocated from California to New York City after her time as The Bachelorette to be with Zac, who works as an addiction specialist. He founded the company Release Recovery. “A source close to Tayshia also confirms that she plans to stay in NYC.”
“The break-up “comes less than a year after the pair got engaged on The Bachelorette and about two weeks after they ran the New York City marathon together.” On November 8, Zac posted a sweet tribute on Instagram about Tayshia’s hard work and dedication throughout training for the marathon. He wrote about how she didn’t complain about her “chronic knee/back pain or her inability to train due to her insane schedule… She is allergic to excuses.”

This was apparently Tayshia’s first marathon, and one of many for Zac. The breakup probably won’t come as a huge shock to Bachelor Nation. Tayshia and Zac really didn’t have much chemistry on-screen together and seemed to be completely different people. Not to mention, Tayshia appeared to ignore some serious potential red flags about Zac. Don’t get me wrong, he’s overcome a lot and seems to be doing really well for himself. I just can’t forget that when he told Tayshia he stole from his first wife because he was high, she barely flinched. Tayshia just seemed to be into the process, not necessarily Zac.
It’s sad that another couple is dunzo in Bachelor Nation. Zac and Tayshia will join Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes in the break-up department, which is where Clare Crawley and Dale Moss’s relationship went, too. At least Tayshia can stay busy throughout this time as the host of Michelle Young’s season of The Bachelorette, along with Kaitlyn Bristowe.
