I truly don’t think there will come a day where I’m not totally invested in the Real Housewives of Potomac. Those ladies just know how to bring it better than anyone else, and they’re still the relatively new kids on the block compared to other Real Housewives shows. Need proof? Has a star to the caliber of Nicki Minaj ever guest-hosted any of the other cities’ reunions? Didn’t think so.
RHOP is a gem and must be recognized as such. I love watching Candiace Dillard fight her own battles until the end and throw hilarious shade at anyone who dares to poke Ratatata Candiace. Karen Huger will forever be a gem, especially when she’s exchanging reads with Gizelle Bryant. I love Wendy Osefo and her method of schooling the other ladies. Truly, I haven’t met an RHOP star I didn’t like.
People have FINALLY stopped sleeping on RHOP, understanding that it’s one of the best shows on Bravo. And the network is apparently feeling the success, as TV Deets recently received a tip that the Grande Dame herself might be getting a family spinoff show similar to Porsha Williams‘ upcoming series. While I love and will ride for La Dame until the end, who asked for this? Do we really need an entire show about Karen? Maybe if it was the road to her “vowel” renewal I could see it, but I’m just confused.

The “source” told the outlet that a spinoff is in the works, focusing on Karen and her family including Ray Huger and her kiddos Rayvin Huger and Brandon Huger. The show will apparently be full of comedy, as is literally everything Karen does in her day-to-day life. I will never forget the day she ordered milk at a fancy dinner. Just iconic.
TV Deets reports that the show is set to air sometime in 2022, but I will believe it when I see it. That’s a pretty short timeline for a show that hasn’t even been teased about. Maybe we’ll see even more of the candle wars between La Dame, Zen Wen, and newbie Mia Thornton. Otherwise, the storylines are completely up in the air in my opinion. We’ll probably see more of Karen’s goofy duties as an ambassador to Surry County, which is pretty entertaining. I know one thing — Miss Andiana Minaj will likely tune in, as she’s apparently a big fan of Ray and the Huger fam.
