Netflix has dropped the trailer for Season 4 of Selling Sunset on YouTube, and I for one am here for it. It had me at “ladies, I’ve got some big news.” As announced by real estate mogul Jason Oppenheim. Followed by the ‘ladies’ quipping, “you’re pregnant,” and “you’re getting married,” playing concurrently over a shot of new boo Chrishell Stause laughing, looking down and shaking her head in her hands. I see what you did there, and it’s totally working.
The trailer itself is extremely Christine Quinn heavy, and not in a good way. It basically shows her in some sort of altercation with basically everyone, lending credence to her stance that regardless of any cast fallouts, she will be in every episode. It looks like even the newest real estate agents to join the group, Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan, will have their own issues with Christine.
Vanessa definitely comes across as not being willing to put up with any crap the HBIC might be dishing out. “I’ve had a lot of experience where I’ve worked with women that are competitive and mean. I know how to deal with that,” she says. And once again Netflix leaves nothing to our imagination by layering over Vanessa’s speech with a video of Christine blowing on a nail file, akin to a gunslinger after firing a kill shot. Cue the OK Corral, it looks like a showdown is coming between these to.

And Emma? Well according to Heather Rae Young(or Heather El Moussa?), that’s because the two have some history. Apparently Emma hooked up with Christine’s ex, two months after they had broken up. Ouch, that has to sting. Especially since, according to Jason, Emma was brought on for the sole purpose of helping Christine out. You know, ’cause she’s preggo. Most people would be thrilled. But, we also know that Christine took the world’s shortest maternity leave, so there’s that.
Heather sums it up perfectly, “Why does she care? She’s married with a baby?” Exactly my thoughts, Heather, exactly. None of this should matter, except we know how much Christine loves a good pot stir.
Noticeably missing from the trailer, other than a few scenes of them being in attendance, were Mary Fitzgerald, Maya Vander and Amanza Smith. We saw just enough to know that they’re still on the show, but that’s about it. But you know who we did see? Davina Potratz, who we last saw leaving the Oppenheim Group to join rival Douglas Elliman. She may have left the group, but left no bones about wanting to stay on for filming. It looks like she got her wish, and that not everyone is going to be happy about.

I can’t wait to see what the new ‘ladies’ bring to the table, the fall of Christine, Heather’s wedding planning, and Chrishell finding happiness after the mess that was Justin Hartley.
