Season 16 of Real Housewives of Orange County is set to bow on December 1, 2021, and the series will look very different. Kelly Dodd and Braunwyn Windham-Burke were fired, along with one and done Housewife Elizabeth Lyn Vargas. Thank you, Bravo! Heather Dubrow is back to sip her champs and class up RHOC again.
Two of Braunwyn’s friends were hired to join the cast. Jen Armstrong was added, as was Noella Bergener. Noella was one of Braunwyn’s besties. In fact, Braunwyn once described Noella as the “life of the party.”
Once Noella was cast on RHOC, her friendship with the frantic Braunwyn ended. “It was a great friendship till it wasn’t,” Noella said. “I’ve wanted to call her so many times since our bad breakup but without trust you have nothing.” So much for that cameo, Braunwyn. Sorry!
Noella has a full plate of problems of her own without dealing with Braunwyn. In July of 2021, Radar Online reported that James Bergener, Noella’s husband, allegedly owed over $5 million in taxes to the IRS and the state of California. Noella is fitting right in with the RHOC crowd.
Shortly after, James filed for divorce from Noella in August of 2021. The couple tied the knot in June of 2020, and Noella was “blindsided” by James’ decision to end their marriage. So, how much of Noella’s marital and financial drama will play out on RHOC?

The trailer for Season 16 of RHOC dropped, and as expected, it is the Fancy Pants show. The trailer begins by showing Heather walking into her enormous mansion.
Page Six reported that Heather made a stunning claim in the trailer. “I didn’t want to invite you because you gave my daughter pornography as a gift,” Heather told Noella during the Cabo cast trip. Noella gasped in shock, and that is all we know.
Noella met Heather’s 17-year-old daughter, Max Dubrow, earlier in the clip. When Noella first met Max, she enthusiastically said, “Are you Max? Hi Max! I’m bisexual too.”
One thing that we know is that Heather is a mama bear, and she loves her children. Max came out as bisexual in July of 2020 on Instagram. Heather shared her daughter’s post on her Instagram. Heather captioned the post, “I love you my beautiful, hilarious, amazing child! I am SO proud to be your Mother!” She added some pride flag emojis.
It remains to be seen what Noella actually gave Max, but I have a feeling that this is going to be a major story line for this season. And it looks like Noella is learning the hard way not to mess with Heather, or her kids.
