Kenya Moore Believes Porsha Williams Made Right Decision To Leave Real Housewives Of Atlanta; Compares Porsha’s New Show To Kim Zolciak’s Don’t Be Tardy

The feud between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams has been central to Real Housewives of Atlanta for nearly a decade. Both ladies came onto the show during its fifth season and have been going at it ever since. And they’ve both become iconic housewives in their own ways. Porsha went from submissive housewife to confident business owner, with a passion for hard work and social justice. Kenya is a Bravo all-star – literally. She’s appearing on the first-ever Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip mashup show and Dancing With The Stars just this year. And while also doing the most on RHOA.

But after years of feuding, Porsha announced that she’s moving on from RHOA. She also took Cynthia Bailey out the door with her. It wasn’t a total shock. Her controversial engagement with Simon Guobadia made her a prime target for shade. Particularly just one season after she introduced Falynn Guobadia to the show as her friend. She’s also secured her own spinoff on Bravo, Don’t Be Tardy style. So when it came down to what’s next, Porsha decided to leave the messy world of Real Housewives behind.

Since the news broke, I’ve been curious what Twirl thinks about all of this. She and Porsha have had some serious fights over the years, despite their unique transformations. It can be assumed that Kenya feels like she won the war — she’s the last one standing with a peach in her hand. But in an Instagram Live Q&A, Twirl had nothing but well wishes to her forever enemy.

Kenya wasn’t surprised to hear that Porsha decided to duck out ahead of next season, in a clip reposted by a fan account. “Clearly there was some controversy involved in how she met her now fiance,” Kenya said. Porsha Luther King knows Twirl would have read her to filth over that.

She added that Porsha’s spinoff is similar to Kim Zolciak Biermann’s, who also left the show amidst controversy and after getting her own show. “Kim Zolciak can be a villain, you know when she’s on Real Housewives of Atlanta. But on her show, she can be a hero,” Kenya said. Porsha4Real has always surrounded herself with yes-men to support her on the show. So it’s not surprising that a spinoff where she is the main star is more her speed.

Twirl added that she thinks Porsha made “the best decision” and even wished her well. “Listen, we haven’t heard the last of Porsha either,” she added. The shared sentiment with Andy Cohen about Porsha going on pause makes it seem like she’ll be back on RHOA one day, also similar to Kim. RHOA is entering a new era, with some familiar faces like Sheree Whitfield rumored to be thrown in the mix. It also means that Kenya will carve out a new niche on the show now that she doesn’t have her tension with Porsha to fall back on.
