Porsha Williams Says She Was Homeless While Filming Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Real Housewives of Atlanta and civil rights activist Porsha Williams has been called many names on the show (particularly by Kenya Moore)  but now she can add one more to the list, author.  Porsha’s book The Pursuit of Porsha: How I Grew Into My Power and Purpose is on the way, according to BET.

In the upcoming book, Porsha gets a chance to respond to some of  the shade that has been thrown her way over the years.  “After starring season after season on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, I felt there was still so much I never got a chance to say in those confessionals or never got to express at the reunions between throwing shade and receipts,” she writes in the excerpt from the book.

The revelations of Porsha’s life are not limited to to her on camera housewife life.  She also discuses her battle with depression, her traumatizing divorce from former NFL star Kordell Stewart and more.  Porsha walked away from receiving much if anything, after Kordell fought against giving her any alimony, which left her with no money.

“I went from being homeless while starring on The Real Housewives to owning two successful businesses,” she said in the intro of the book.

Porsha now receives a reported $1.3 million per season.  She is letting no moss grow under her feet because there are more changes yet to come. She recently announced she will be leaving Dish Nation after eight years.  Looks like this is is just the beginning of Porsha’s world takeover.
