Kenya Moore Says There Was Drama Within First 20 Minutes Of Filming Real Housewives Spin-Off Show

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore dished to Entertainment Tonight recently, on Peacock’s highly anticipated spin off show Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Currently being touted as essentially a Housewives All Stars, we have big expectations, to say the least.

On the cast dynamic, Kenya explained, “The girls were outstanding. Like, it was just, like – it was so, it was like a symphony, you know? It was just magic, everywhere you looked.” Iconic housewives who joined filming include RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle RichardsReal Housewives of New York’s Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer as well as Real Housewives of New Jersey’s, Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. “It was the best show that I’ve filmed” Kenya raved. Okay Kenya, were intrigued (as though we needed any persuading).

With a cast like this, we’re excited to see sparks, and according to Kenya, the ladies deliver! “It was like one, big special, but with the drama between these ladies who don’t actually work together,” Kenya said.

She continued, “I think a lot of the ladies bring a lot of drama, I’m sure”. Giving us a little teaser, she divulged, “Someone, you know, on the plane ride got called a b-word, OK? So, right off the bat, 20 minutes in.” With Melissa recently saying Ramona caused the most drama on the trip, my bets are on this incident having something to do with the Singer Stinger!

For those concerned about an overproduced feel, RHUGT will seek to deliver an authentic look at the casts experiences as housewives. Kenya confirmed , “We broke the fourth wall a lot, so then they would reveal how they felt in this moment [from their respective shows], or what really happened. Or– and it was just, like, pulling back that veil and seeing what it’s really like to be a Housewife.”

Major Housewife egos, cohabitating in a Big Brother style filming environment, is the reality TV experiment Housewives fans have been waiting for. Kenya describes RHUGT as, “you had seven women with these seven different personalities, and it was just like, we were in a home — we were in a villa — sequestered, basically. And long hours of work, and it’s just like, big attitudes, big egos, big hair. You know, it was just a lot of things happening. … Everything you need!” We know what you mean Kenya, and we love it for us.
