Vicki Gunvalson, the OG of the Real Housewives of Orange County, has never been known for making well thought out decisions. She blames her divorce from Donn Gunvalson on reality TV, not her behavior. She was ride-or-die for Brooks Ayers despite his cancer scam back in Season 10. And now she’s apparently got COVID-19 after refusing to get vaccinated, but claiming it’s merely an “unknown cold.” Vicki makes for good TV but would I personally want to orbit in her social circle? Probably not.
And Vicki is not just a mom, a fiance, and the potential next First Lady of California (don’t even get me started on that) — she’s a Nana too. And loves being it. Briana Culberson is gearing up to have her fourth baby with Ryan Culberson. And despite the happy news, Vicki managed to piss off Ryan with another tone-deaf Instagram post.
As captured by @allabouttrh on Instagram, Vicki apparently ruined the news that Ryan and Briana as expecting their first girl together. Ryan posted an Instagram story saying, “You ever get really good news and find out your mother-in-law ruins it? Well, that happened to me today. Oh yeah, we’re having a girl.” He sarcastically made the caption “so thankful for @vickigunvalson” which has to be making her fume with anger.

Apparently, Vicki posted and quickly deleted a photo of Briana, Ryan, and their kids shooting pink smoke into the sky. It was before the Culbersons had even processed they were having a girl, and Ryan wanted to tell the news to the world. While it sucks for Briana that Vicki did that, it’s been clear since Ryan screamed at Lydia McLaughlin’s mom for laying on Vicki’s couch that he has some pent-up anger. And in the end, is he really this made about not announcing the news to his “fans” on social media? I have questions.
And according to Page Six, the situation got even worse. Ryan posted a second video, which he later deleted, that sounds like a low-key threat toward his mother-in-law. In the video, Ryan says, “It ain’t smart to piss off the one that knows everything — and I know everything.” Ryan, WHAT DO YOU KNOW? Is it about Brooks? Is it about Vicki’s future, or maybe lack-there-of, on Bravo? WHAT DO YOU KNOW? While it’s uncool for Vicki’s fam to throw her under the bus sometimes, the reality TV lover in me wants to know the tea.
