Wendy Osefo might be Zen Wen (in her mind) these days, but she’s not dealing with the Real Housewives of Potomac green-eyed bandits coming for her marriage. Or her “happy” & “ness” for that matter. During the latest episode, Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant basically attacked her for having her second-season glow-up. And while they tried to insinuate that Wendy had deep-rooted issues going on, neither Dr. Wendy nor Karen Huger were having it. The ladies were trying to be messy by bringing up rumors about Eddie Osefo, and maybe it’s because they don’t have someone as supportive as Eddie to crawl into bed with every night. In the words of Candiace Dillard, I said what I said.
Wendy has clapped back at the bandits’ attacks, which particularly hurt as they were all close after her first RHOP season. And in a recent interview with Distractify, Wendy pulled a Grand Dame by saying she’s heard rumors on the streets of Potomac about Gizzy too. But she has the respect to keep them to herself like a grown-ass woman.
The shade started off with Wendy saying that lies are spread every day about people who are in the public eye but keeping her family “grounded” is what helps her get through it. “It’s unfortunate that this was brought to this platform by someone who I thought was my friend,” Wendy said. Say that again so Gizelle can hear it all the way from the West Wing.
She continued to school Gizzy, “There have been so many lies and vicious, malicious things said about her family that we have all respected and we never brought to this platform.” Well, unless you count Monique Samuels’ binder, but I detect no lies. Gizzy is messy yet won’t answer a simple question about Jamal Bryant’s questionable activities. Double standard, much?
And while the Osefo fam is doing just fine despite the rumor mill churning, Whiskey Wendy says she now knows “who [her] true friends are.” AKA La Dame, who we know will stock her house with Wendy’s candles if they ever actually go up for sale. Now Mia Thornton, on the other hand, will probably stay on Wendy’s naughty list for quite a while. But despite the drama, Wendy promises that “Season 6 is the best season yet.” Considering her four degrees and position on the show, I have no choice but to believe her.
