I think I speak for every Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fan when I say we need Bravo to BRING ON SEASON 2. The newest city in the Real Housewives universe came in hot its first season. Hospital smells. Hot tub blow-ups. And a whole lot of disengaging. And Season 2 is gearing up to be more explosive than ever, especially considering the charges facing alleged telemarketing schemer Jen Shah. If you thought RHOSLC Season 1 was the Jen Shah show, we have another thing coming.
And I think I also speak for the fans when I say Season 2 needs a whole lot more of Mary Cosby. Let’s get this woman out of her endless closet and into some group scenes PLEASE. Mary is a woman of God. The First Lady of a massive congregation. And a mom and wife, to her deceased grandmother’s second spouse. She’s unlike any other Bravolebrity I can think of. And even pulled a Ramona Singer by falling asleep at her first-ever reunion. A treasure.
And while Mary and Jen went head-to-head last year, they seem to have something in common — recent issues with the law. Mary recently was charged with unlawfully providing shelter to a runaway and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. When the news first broke, a representative of the RHOSLC star said she was “saddened” to be dragged into “another family’s domestic situation” but believes that it’s all a misunderstanding.
It is curious to point out that Jen Shah is also trying to get the federal fraud charges dismissed against her without a hitch. But to be fair, Mary’s misdemeanor charges are significantly less horrific than Jen allegedly committing fraud against the elderly. But I digress.

A new report from Page Six claims that Mary has pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor charges in Salt Lake City court. She was originally charged in April and made the not guilty plea at the end of June. She’s reportedly due back in court on August 12.
Details of the incident resulting in Mary’s charges is unknown. But Page Six reports that rumors are circulating online that her only son, Robert Cosby Jr., may have been involved.
