If you’re watching Shahs of Sunset you’re probably wondering if Nema Vand will ever find love. Not that this is a pervasive storyline or anything. It’s just intriguing to watch someone bounce between the likes of Golnesa Gharachedaghi and Garcelle Beauvais. That’s quite the emotional range.
Garcelle has recently propositioned Nema to slide into her DMs after he revealed a little crush on Watch What Happens Live. That’s not the only tea spilled during his interview, either!
During a his appearance on Watch What Happens Live, a fan wrote in asking Nema if he has reconnected with Meghan Markle since she and Prince Harry have moved back to California. In case you missed it, Nema went to high school with Meghan back in the day. A little over a year ago he did an interview where he gave some details into his former friendship/relationship with the now Duchess.
Originally, Nema had told podcast listeners that “[Meghan] knew what she was doing. She toyed with our hearts masterfully. We were at a party one time and she sat on my lap. She got nose to nose with me. For a 16-year-old guy, that is an emotional moment. She said to me in Farsi, ‘You are so beautiful.’ I asked her, ‘How do you know Farsi?’ She said, ‘I learned it for you.’ Then she walked away.” Okay then.
Nema also snuck in an inside joke during that original interview, apparently referencing a former relationship between an old friend and Meghan. He had said, “And by the way, if she is listening, I am going to say this one time. Meghan, you really upset our friend Gabe.” #Justice4Gabe, I guess.

It seems Nema has reaped what his name dropping ass has sown, though. When answering the fan-written question read off by Andy Cohen he admitted, “No [I did not reconnect with her] because the Meghan Markle army came for me.” He also said, “My friend who I mentioned had dated her had reporters camping of his home for a week. I was getting death threats on Twitter.” Gabe is probably so pissed right now.
Nema claims that the British press tried to push the narrative that he had called Meghan a “floozy.” He told viewers,”They came for him” and, “Don’t mess with the queen!” Nema also said, “It was really bad, Andy…Literally, reporters camped outside my house, my friends house…wouldn’t leave for a week.” Whoopsie!
