Almost paradise! We’re knocking on heaven’s door! And yes, we’ll ask for more. After missing out on a 2020 season of Bachelor In Paradise, the gates are about to be blown wide open. It was announced in April that season 7 of The Bachelor/Bachelorette branch-off was happening. The countdown to the August 16th premiere date is on!
As we wrap up Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, the cast list for BIP is getting longer. It’s looking like fans can expect to see no less than five men from Katie’s season 17 line-up.
It’s been confirmed that Karl Smith, James Bonsall, Tre Cooper, Connor Brennan, and Aaron Clancy will all be in attendance at Playa Escondida for season 7 of BIP. Of these suitors, Katie revealed which of her exes she thought would “thrive” in the spinoff environment.
“I’m torn between Connor and Aaron.” she admitted. “I mean, Connor is just such a sweetheart. He’s such a lover. But also, Aaron is, like, built for Paradise,” Katie explained. Aren’t they all? Katie went on to call Aaron a “hottie with a body” and added, “I think there’s going to be a lot of girls drooling over him to be honest.”
And if you know anything about Bachelor Nation, where there is drooling, there is usually some drama. Tre teased some fireworks saying, “The guys from our season — it’s me, a very strong-willed person to speak my mind, Aaron, a very strong-willed person, James, you know,” we do. Tre added, “And then you’ve got Connor, who’s the songbird of our house. Karl brings a very maniac energy to everything. So, there’s definitely tension.” I love to hear it.

Wells Adams, who has been promoted from bartender to Master of Ceremonies this season, cosigned Tre’s assessment. He said, “There are some twists and turns that I was shocked by, and I never thought would ever happen on the show. And I think people are really, really going to love this season.”
Aaron had a different take altogether, though. He shared, “It’s always a bonus to see the boys. My fellow castmates are like my brothers at this point. “[I] couldn’t wait to see them on the beach and, you know, maybe f—k around and take a dip in the ocean.” Ouch. That’s not the final rose/engagement energy we were looking for, Aaron. Best of luck, though!
