Calling all Barbz, calling all Barbz — report to the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion ASAP. What seemingly started as a joke with rapper Nicki Minaj eyeing Andy Cohen’s hosting seat at the upcoming reunion sounds like it might become a reality. From the sound of it, it seems like Nicki is a big Karen Huger fan and has some poignant questions for Miss Candiace Dillard-Bassett. And she might finally be the one to personally get Gizelle Bryant’s daughters some tickets to one of her shows. Because Jamal Bryant really thought a bunch of teenage girls would rather have a restaurant than tickets to a Nicki Minaj show. Ugh, men *eyeroll*.
Based on the amazing RHOP promo using a remixed version of Nicki’s “Moment 4 Life,” it seems like all of the Potomac ladies are bonafide Barbz. It’s honestly one of the most iconic promos in Real Housewives history. I bet Monique Samuels is fueling that Bravo had the idea after her exit. And newbie Mia Thornton is probably glad she not only got to be involved in this, but the RHOP campaign with UGG x Telfar shoot as well. Timing is everything, darlings.
So it all started when Nicki posted a video of the promo on her Instagram page and made a joke about wanting to host the reunion. Then, according to screenshots of her Instagram story captured by @thepeachreport, Miss Minaj’s publicist went to work trying to make the dream a reality. The pop-culture gods are smiling down upon all of us, and I’m living.
Nicki shared a screenshot of her text exchange with someone in her contacts named “Joe Publicist.” Joe texted Nicki saying, “Andy Cohen said he would gladly give up his seat to have you host the Potomac reunion. Tapes around October.” Nicki obviously slammed on her keyboard, seemingly writing all-caps versions of “OMFG,” “PLZ,” “STOP LYING” And “WHAT DA F–K.” Miss Onika has a way with words when it comes to rapping but obviously can’t contain herself when it comes to Real Housewives. And I totally echo her excitement.
Joe the publicist seemingly approved “Would really be a funny f–king moment. I like this idea.” And Nicki responded, confirming yes, she wants to take the hosting seat. Joe said he would be “getting details” for her, so let’s all cross our fingers hoping that this somehow works out. The big question is whether or not Nicki is in charge of the seating arrangements. And clearly she’s a fan, so she could be reallll shady with who she sits next to one another.

Nicki made another Instagram story calling on her fans to tune into RHOP prior to the reunion. “Dont move! Everyone binge watch all the episodes cuz we finna get into some thangz hunty. My questions will be well thought out, too. Mixed with funny & epic, of course,” she wrote. I NEED THIS. LIKE I NEED TO KNOW ALL OF HER QUESTIONS.
And then Nicki pleaded for her fans to let her have this moment. “And Barbz, plz don’t send me a million comments about the album & doc chile just lemme have my moment. We almost there. Promise. Not lying this time. Love you. #RHOP,” the post continued. She also tags Andy, the Watch What Happens Live page and Joe the publicist. Next up we need to get Rihanna to host the Real Housewives of New York reunion and I could literally die happy.
