90 Day Fiance Star Stacey Silva Wants To Have A Baby With Florian Sukaj

They’re back.  The twins you didn’t know you needed more of in your life have returned for a second season of their 90 Day Fiance reality spinoff Darcey & Stacey.  And these glamorous twins always have drama with their men.  Fabricated or not.  Stacey Silva married Florain Sukaj during the coronavirus pandemic last season.  Georgi Rusev popped the question to Darcey Silva just to quell her constant need for reassurance.  And so the twins began domestic bliss in Season 2.  Or not.

Ever in need of a story line, Stacey is pushing the narrative that she, with sons just ready to go off to college, needs to validate her relationship to Florian by having another child.  We get it Stacey, you’ve got to bring something to the table for the sake of viewers, and Florian needs an heir.  Except that he seems less than interested about this topic than usual.

On the last season of Darcey & Stacey, Stacey brought up the idea of IVF to a skeptical Florian, who cited religious reasons for being hesitant of the process.  The topic came up again during a sneak peak for the August 2nd episode, shared exclusively by Entertainment Online.

In the preview, Stacey exclaimed, “let’s cheers to our marriage, love, happiness, success, family.  Speaking of family, I was thinking we should talk a little more about kids in the future.”

The mother of two, at age 46, hears her biological clock amped up full blast at this point.  And Florian is seemingly not picking up on her angst.  Though it could just be for the cameras, let’s be honest.

“I really want to talk to Florian about going to see the fertility specialist, to see what our options are,” Stacey revealed, “I’m hoping he will seriously rethink his stance. I don’t think he gets it because I’m getting older and there’s a small window of time.”

Florian is noticeably unconcerned, and gives it up to a higher power.  “Like, later, probably you [will] get pregnant, understand? You never know,” he said, “everything is possible. Never say never.”  Well Stacey is not happy to give up control of the situation.  “I feel like it’s better to be safe than sorry,” she said, “to just say, ‘Oh it’s in God’s hands,’ that doesn’t really tell me anything.”

Methinks this baby fever has more to do with giving Florian a long-term reason to stay.  Especially after the infidelity rumors from last season.  Why this insistence on validating a relationship, unless both partners really really want a child together?  But Florian insists that he does.  “I’d like to have kids with you,” he told Stacey, “I love the big family. What God chooses, understand?”

Stacey told Florian, “You know how much I love my kids. You’re amazing with my sons. I just hope that God will bless us with a child eventually, but I also want to be realistic too. God created doctors for a reason because they’re here to help.”

Florian has all the time in the world.  It’s an unfair tip in the scales towards the male species, let’s face it.  So when Stacey insists that she, “wants to be the one to give you a kid,” it’s more about her ego and need for stability than anything else.  It’s “important” to their marriage to have another child.  Meaning, keep that man around.

Finally, Florian agrees to see a fertility specialist.  It will give us some reality TV fodder for Season 2, but is he ready for parenthood?

Darcey & Stacey airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on TLC.
