The Real Housewives of Orange County is back to filming Season 16 with a totally revamped cast. Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas got pink-slipped after the blunder that was last season. Most fans, myself included, were overjoyed that toxic Kelly and Fraudwyn were fired, because they were truly both insufferable. Now we’re left with Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson and Shannon Beador with a TRIUMPHANT return from Heather Dubrow. Let’s go girls.
To no surprise, Braunwyn and Kelly have not been happy about getting the boot from RHOC. While Kelly is basking in her delusions, Braunwyn is pointing the finger at everybody. She’s mad Andy Cohen didn’t personally call her to tell her she wouldn’t be offered a contract. She believes it was messed up to fire her during Pride month. And, for some reason, thinks she’s the epitome of what makes good TV.
Boringwyn’s last season was a damn mess. She got sober and decided to open her marriage with Sean Burke after coming out as a lesbian, which clearly wasn’t a great long-term plan. Now she’s dating Tamra Judge’s old pal Fernanda Rocha and is trying out separation from Sean, amidst some sketchy-sounding financial allegations. And to rub salt in the wound, Bravo’s apparently hired two of her friends to replace her spot on the show.
It’s previously been reported that Noella Bergener, Braunwyn’s former BFF, is taking the orange right from her hand. Noella was pretty inseparable with Braunwn prior to the RHOC drama. And she’s already fitting in the Real Housewives universe with allegations of unpaid taxes.

And now Radar Online reports that another one of B’s friends is rumored to be coming on the show. Dr. Jen Armstrong, a mother of three and a resident of Newport Beach. Twitter user @BRVOconnosseur posted a screenshot of Jen’s comments, where she thanked followers for congratulating her on her new gig on RHOC. It’s not clear if either of the ladies will be full-time or friends-of, but it’s nice to see some new faces thrown into the mix. And when I mean new faces, I’m finally not referring to Vicki Gunvalson.
Additionally, a third cast member has allegedly been added — a woman named Nicole James. She doesn’t seem to be Braunwyn’s friend and Fancy Pants is the only one following her on Insta, so we’ll have to wait and see. Braunwyn’s already banking on making a cameo on the show thanks to her connections with Noella and Jen. But let’s all manifest that Bravo does the right thing and stops putting a camera on Braunwyn’s mess. But a Tammy Sue cameo, I could get down with.
