The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is starting to sound like the Real Fraudsters of the Greater Southern California Area. This season is clearly centered around Erika Jayne and the horrific embezzlement allegations Tom Girardi is facing. Finally, we’re not being forced to watch a group of middle-aged women attack (and out) Denise Richards for allegedly hooking up with Brandi Glanville. Or argue about a puppy. Or panties. We’re getting real-life rich people problems. And all I gotta say is, it’s about freakin time.
Erika is far from the first RHOBH lady to face legal probz. Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley have had their fair share of issues, whether it’s lawsuits or forgetting to pay casinos and such. They’re even selling their Encino house after living there for just a year which is shrouded in sketchiness. And hey, Erika wasn’t the first lady to get her assets frozen — Door-It has been there, done that. Yet all Dorit has been giving us this season (and frankly, most seasons) is over-the-top outfits that never seem to be appropriate for the event she’s attending. Oh, and denials of plastic surgery.
Well, PK and Dorito are facing another major issue, this time involving the IRS. According to Page Six, Dorit and PK reportedly owe more than $1.3 million combined in unpaid taxes dating back to 2015. Am I having deja vu? Weren’t they accused not that long ago of owing millions to the IRS? Did they just think this would all go away if they didn’t acknowledge it? Are Jagger and Phoenix the Kemsley financial planners? So. many. questions.

The reports allege that PK has two active solo tax liens in California — both totaling close to $290,000 from 2015 AND 2018. Dorit has her own individual tax lien from 2021 that states she owes more than $90k. She better start selling some of her clothes Erika Jayne style. And the couple both are named in a 2018 document alleging they owe the feds $635,000. Dang. They’re going to have to sell a lot of plates of spaghetti to sell in the Capri Room at Buca di Beppo to pay off this one. And Dorit had the nerve to call Garcelle Beauvais inauthentic. Puh-lease.

While I love PK’s antics of making hilarious posts on Instagram or getting in the drama like he’s a bonafide housewife, why are the Kemsley’s never forced to fess up about their mountain of financial and legal problems? We watch the RHOBH ladies flaunt their wealth arguably more than any other Real Housewives city. Yet they seem to be the ones most shrouded in controversy. Like I said, Bravo needs to rename the show to the Real Fraudsters of Encino at this point. It’s all smoke and mirrors, or cubic zirconia and cheap boxed wine.
