Noella Bergener Real Housewives of Orange County

New Real Housewives Of Orange County Star Noella Bergener’s Husband Owes Over 5 Million Dollars In Taxes

Real Housewives of Orange County is currently filming its 16thseason. Sixteen years! Wow, who would have thought? RHOC has been through some major changes over the last few years, but it seems like it’s getting a major shake-up this season.

So far, producers are making the right calls for season 16. They’ve sent Kelly Dodd, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas off in a family van and they’re bringing back fancy pants Heather Dubrow. I believe Heather will bring true opulence back to show. But, let’s not get too ahead of things here. The premise of Housewives may revolve around women of means, but it’s littered with women bordering on financial ruin. Take for instance, Noella Bergener, a former friend of Braunwyn and reported season 16 cast member. She’s apparently comin’ in hot with major debt.

Radar Online is reporting that Noella’s husband, James Bergener, owes “millions in taxes to the State of California and the Internal Revenue Service.” James is a personal injury lawyer and “runs a successful law firm named Sweet James in Orange County.” Yes, you read that correctly. Sweet James is the name of his firm. I guess we know why this story make so much sense.

Radar did some digging into James and Noella’s business, and “obtained a federal tax lien filed on June 3, 2021. The lien accuses James of owing taxes for the years 2018 and 2019. The document says he refused to pay $1,878,438 for 2018 and $2,166,680 for 2019.” That’s a whole lot of money in back taxes.

Additionally, “in a separate tax lien filed on July 7, the State of California says James owes them $1,851,225.04 for 2018 and 2019.” This brings, “the grand total” for this tax debt “to $5,896,343.04.” Those are a lot of numbers!

If anything, Noella will be carrying on the long tradition of RHOCfailing to pay bills and living well above one’s means. It will be interesting to see if these issues are discussed next season. Either way, I know I’ll be watching because I need to see if Heather and Shannon Beador have any “uninvited” confrontations – you know – for old time’s sake.
