Real Housewives of Potomac is back, baby! And it’s already started off with a bang. New boobs! Housewives that can’t add (ahem, Mia Thornton)! Gizelle Bryant coming for Karen Huger! What more could we want from a franchise.
Well, RHOP is going to give us a lot more this season. Including Gizelle, and maybe the rest of the cast, continuing to come for La Grande Dame, Karen.
Entertainment Tonight recently sat down with Gizelle, Robyn Dixon and Candiace Dillard Bassett to discuss the new season. And they decided to focus all their shade on Karen.
When asked who was the least trustworthy, Robyn responded, “I would say Karen because I have a hard time believing some of the things that come out of her mouth.” Gizelle agreed, “There is a theme here.” Candiace also chimed in, “It’s unfortunate, but yes, there is a theme.” In fact Candiace is so mad at Karen, the ladies speculated that Candiace used an upset stomach as an excuse to avoid Karen at Wendy Osefo’s Nude Interlude party.
So no one is really surprised that the ladies are coming for Karen about how trustworthy she is. When Candiace and Monique Samuels got into their altercation last year, the cast was divided. But Karen refused to take sides, which ultimately seemed like she was siding with Monique. This led Candiace to accuse Karen of trying to get her fired, an allegation that Karen denied.

Candiace continued on season 6, “You saw in the super tease, I said, ‘I don’t trust you.’ Do I trust her now? I trust her as far as I can throw her. Beyond that, you know, it just, it is what it is. And she understands that. But will it ever be the same? No, it won’t. And that’s just the way the cookie has crumbled.”
She admitted, “People are not always capable of what I need them to be for me as friends and that’s OK. And I have had to learn to accept that and I have. So Karen and I are, we get good, we get good toward the end, but it’s not the same, which is sad but, you know, oh well. I’m my own best friend. Me and Jesus.” Gizelle added, “I tried to tell her, but she didn’t want to listen to me.”
As for Candiace missing out on the Nude Interlude party, she also missed out on Gizelle immediately going in on Karen. Gizelle told Karen, “I have decided that I’ll just tell your truth, your whole truth, and nothing but it. Your drunk truth, your cheating truth, your broke truth. … I’ll spread it out over time, don’t worry.” Just a little something for viewers to look forward to.
