After a year of watching the Bravoverse take on the coronavirus pandemic (some Real Housewives were better than others), fans are really having the summer TV schedule we deserve. Come July, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Real Housewives of New York and the Real Housewives of Potomac will be on simultaneously. And you know what that means — Grand Dame Karen Huger will be back on our TVs in no time. All is right with the world.
La Dame is the gem of RHOP. Her one-liners rival some of the best of all time from OGs like Nene Leakes and Bethenny Frankel. And she tells confusing stories and has some questionable reasoning from time to time, Karen always make for hilarious television. Thanks to a new trailer for Season 6, fans will see Karen continue to struggle in her marriage with Ray Huger, who might have his own side piece that lives in the phone. But they’re also rumored to be renewing their vows so who even knows what’s going on in the House of Huger. She also screams about her right to “show [her] pubic hair” and completely ignores Gizelle Bryant’s attempt to come for her. Remember, people come for Karen all the time. They just don’t find her.
Now that she won’t have Monique Samuels around anymore, Karen had to find a new bandit to mentor. She tried to take Ashley Darby under her wing in the past. But Coronas and defending Michael Darby aren’t in La Dame’s handbook to Potomac high society. Based on the trailer and a new Instagram post from Karen herself, it seems like newbie Mia Thornton received the Grand Dame stamp of approval.
“A BOSS meeting a BOSS,” Karen captioned a photo of the two of them, rocking fur coats and looking debt-free and loaded. The photo was prior to filming when she met Mia for lunch for the first time. “I am so excited to introduce you all to my friend Mia! She is a. REAL ONE, she’s funny, she smart and has a heart of gold.”

Karen forgot to mention she’s also a culprit of fighting with Candiace Dillard Bassett. Only this time, the ladies were tossing salads at each other rather than snatching wigs. Season 6 can’t come soon enough.
