Erika Jayne is having one hell of a year. And it’s not getting any better. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is embroiled in scandals thanks to husband, Tom Girardi. The legal repercussions are huge on this one, thanks to the allegations that Tom was swindling money from settlements that belonged to car crash and burn victims he represented. We all know he had some past trouble for some unpaid security bills but those pale in comparison. In addition, they didn’t implicate Erika in any of the fraud.
But not this time. Erika has been accused of knowing full well what was going on with Tom’s financial troubles. Of course this is all speculation and maybe she didn’t know exactly what he was up to. And she was quick to file for divorce, leading some to speculate it was pure calculation as opposed to disdain for his alleged crimes. Either way, while Tom claims he’s suffering from Alzheimers, The Pretty Mess has been posting racy photos of herself on her Instagram. So much for self awareness.
Now that we are gearing up for the next season of RHOBH and Erika is going to be in the hot seat, she’s being accused of her own deception. Comments by Bravo recently posted a report from boldandthebravo claiming that Erika refused to go on Watch What Happens Live unless she could pre-select her questions.
According to the post, Erika demanded that her questions be pre-selected to “preserve her shattered image.” This would also mean that viewer questions would be restricted.
WWHL host Andy Cohen took to the Instagram comments to defend Erika. He wrote, “Yeah this isn’t true.” To which Erika herself jumped in and said, “Thank you” with a heart emoji. I love how Erika stays in the comments section of Instagram, trying to defend herself. Doesn’t she have better things to do? Worry about selling that monstrosity of a house to pay off your debts.

So are we going to actually see any of this play out on RHOBH? We know they are notorious for completely ignoring cast lawsuits. But the new season trailer has been teasing Erika stonily claiming that she didn’t think it (her marriage) would end like this. Outside of that, will we actually see any details of what she’s going through legally? Will we see her squeeze out a few tears? She claims in her tagline that she’s the strongest substance on earth so probably not unless she thinks it will win her some sympathy.
Either way, I hope Erika receives the reckoning she deserves. Preferably with candid questions from WWHL viewers who deserve answers.
