It’s hard to recall a more scandalous season of Real Housewives than the current season of Real Housewives of Atlanta. And that’s all thanks to BoloGate. To catch you up, on a Kenya Moore– sponsored trip to South Carolina, the ladies had a little too much fun playing in Kandi Burruss’ makeshift dungeon. A stripper showed up (Bolo) and things got a bit heated.
What followed has been an epic debate about whether or not our Peach Queen, Porsha Williams, enjoyed more of Bolo than just his stripping. Kenya won’t let it go and she’s been all but forcing everyone around her to take sides.
One of the ladies who seems to be in Kenya’s camp is forever friend of, Marlo Hampton. Despite having a good relationship with Porsha as of late, she recently made up with Kenya. A new alliance was formed. One that Porsha was not too happy about. It seems that both Kenya and Marlo were bonding over the rumor that Porsha slept with Bolo.
Now Marlo is spilling the beans to Entertainment Tonight and she has no problem calling Porsha out for what she thinks she did. Despite originally accepting Porsha’s denial, Marlo has come to think otherwise. She admitted, “At the end of the day we know it’s bulls**t, I know you’re lying, OK? I know you’re lying. Porsha is like, ‘No, it didn’t happen. If you were my friend, you wouldn’t have to ask that.’”

Marlo continued, “If I was your friend, I would have been right in your room that next morning [in] South Carolina. You would have been on the phone talking to me, on the group texting situation.” Marlo went on and said, “When we got back from South Carolina, Porsha didn’t call me, I literally had my phone, I text her, ‘Hey, we need to talk off camera. Because if you are my friend … I want you to say, ‘Marlo, I f**ked up. I f**ked the damn stripper. This b***h Kenya trying to be your friend. Hold me down, if you guys are making up…’ but at least let me know. At least you let me know.”
Marlo’s whole beef is that she doesn’t care if Porsha actually slept with Bolo. She just doesn’t want Porsha lying to her about it. And said that she would have kept it a complete secret if Porsha did admit it to her. Marlo claimed, “I didn’t care if it was on camera off, I need to look you in your eyes and make sure Kenya is not just trying to really come over here, lie on you, befriend me and turn me against you. Well, she can’t do that. But you’re not saying anything. You’re not taking up for yourself … and now I’m looking at you kind of funny.”

Marlo added, “As soon as I tweeted and posted ‘it wasn’t me,’ it was done. I’d never heard from Porsha again ever.” Marlo is of course talking about her social media posts after all the speculation came out in the blogs. While some of the women believe that Kenya was behind the leak of information, Marlo doesn’t think so. She calls it a coincidence.
While this is the drama we live for, I can’t figure out why Kenya and Marlo are so hellbent on proving that Porsha slept with Bolo. She is a grown woman, doing her thing, consensually. And she doesn’t owe it to either of them, or anyone else for that matter, to explain if she did or didn’t.

But I guess Kenya and Marlo wouldn’t be doing their jobs as housewives if they didn’t make a mountain out of a molehill. Regardless, I’m firmly Team Porsha on this one. I think it would be for the best if Kenya and Marlo worry about their own lives. Or lack thereof. Which is probably why they are talking about it to begin with.
