The demise of Shannon Beador and David Beador‘s relationship has been a long and drawn-out storyline on the Real Housewives Of Orange County. Shannon joined the cast fresh off of dealing with the infamous AFFAIR and gave an honest look into them attempting to repair their marriage. While we didn’t have high expectations, their attempts at reconciliation did give us iconic scenes, like when they both had to give each other eulogies at the other’s fake funeral. Let’s be real — we all knew it was over the second they renewed their vows.
Somehow (not shocked) all of this work couldn’t stop David from being the cheating, gaslighting partner he is, who would rather munch on chips than have to talk to his ex-wife. But now he’s moved on with his new family — his wife, Lesley Cook Beador, just gave birth to their first baby together.
Shannon and Lesley have gone back and forth on social media about a baby present scandal reminiscent of Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna‘s #bunnygate. Shannon claims to have sent a gift, but Lesley claims she’s lying. Now, according to Page Six, Shannon is saying that the gift was delivered by her kids, and Lesley rejected it.
“The girls said, ‘Mom got you a gift,” Shannon said on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “And David said, ‘That’s nice.’ And she said, ‘I don’t want it.”

The gift was apparently a Madeline doll and a few books. The doll was allegedly a favorite among Shannon and David’s three girls. Of course, the congrats comes after Shannon claims David hasn’t even tried to co-parent the girls, whatever that means. But I digress.
“I didn’t want to go over-the-top. I wanted to be thoughtful,” Shannon said. “It was just little, like, 75 bucks or something, you know, so I sent it with the girls to bring to the house.”
Shannon added that even though she and David’s new baby mama have had plenty of interaction on social media, they haven’t actually met. “That’s two-and-a-half years spending half the time with my children. Why haven’t we met? John (Janssen) and I just were perplexed.”

As if this situation wasn’t messy enough, let’s not forget that Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson have seemingly taken David’s side. Which isn’t a huge surprise — the tres amigas were always destined to be doomed anyway, and we know these OG ladies love to be messy. Let’s just hope that now that David’s new baby girl is born, he’ll be too busy for naked photo shoots in the woods with his new wife. Because absolutely no one wants or needs to see that.
And it’s unclear whether or not the battle of David’s baby mamas will be covered on the next season of RHOC. After the trainwreck that was Season 15, Andy Cohen said Bravo will be taking their time to figure out what’s next.
