Several members of the Vanderpump Rules cast traded liquor bottles for baby bottles this past year. Lala Kent and Randall Emmett just welcomed their baby girl a few days ago. Fired star Stassi Schroeder and her boo Beau Clark recently became parents (and already started a podcast about it). And Brittany Cartwright and Scheana Shay are also expecting babies this spring.
The OG Pumpers are all grown up and have had Lisa Vanderpump as a maternal figure to guide them along the way. While LVP expected some of her employees to start families, other pregnancy announcements were more of a shock.
Us Weekly reports that when Lisa appeared on Watch What Happens Live, her old pal Andy Cohen asked about the baby boom in the Pump Rules universe. Namely, which pregnant cast member surprised her the most.
“I expected it from Jax (Taylor) and Brittany. Lala, I knew she was heading in that direction,” LVP said. “I supposed Scheana because it seemed so quick, being in such a new relationship.” This answer begs the question — has Brock Davies even had a chance to go to Villa Rosa and get Lisa’s approval yet? With COVID probably not. But, Lisa did tell Andy she just talked to the “Good As Gold” singer a few days ago.

“Scheana does fall in love pretty often, as we know. So, the fact that she really kind of made this commitment,” Lisa continued. “One minute she was freezing her eggs, the next they’re fertilized and she’s going to be ready to pop soon.” And Scheana wasn’t even involved in the Pump Rules pregnancy pact, so it is definitely hard to believe that it’s all happening for her.
Scheana announced that she was pregnant with her rainbow baby last October, after suffering from a miscarriage earlier in the year. Scheana’s baby girl is due next month — and she’s flooding Instagram with Hawaiian-themed pregnancy photos featuring Brock in a speedo. Definitely very on-brand for Scheeners.

The biggest bummer is that all of this baby stuff is happening while the cameras aren’t rolling. But a VPR about a bunch of reality stars turned parents would probably be pretty boring. It’d probably be both entertaining and terrifying to watch Jax and Brittany become parents, but they were also fired from the show. Honestly, it’s a shocker Jax made it this long. Several of the OGs are on the outs. Plus, it’s just not the same as the good old days of drunken nights at SUR and fights in the back alley. But according to Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, Season 9 will be happening, it’s just not being filmed yet.
