90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

In last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance most of the couples are questioning their relationships. At the same time, many are taking things to the next level, while others may be ending things for good. I can’t say that I am surprised, but there aren’t too many things on this show that actually shock me.

Jovi and Yara head to Vegas.  Natalie Mordovtseva has an emotional breakdown. Brandon and Julia move up the wedding. Stephanie and Harris contemplate the future. Rebecca Parrott feels lost before her wedding. Hazel Cagalitan comes out to her family and enjoys her bachelorette party. Let’s get straight to the recap!

Jovi, 29 (New Orleans, LA), and Yara, 25 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Jovi, Yara and his friends are on their way to Vegas and things are very awkward. First off, the bride is not only ignoring her fiancé, but everyone else, as well. She is still upset that Jovi invited his friends to what was supposed to be a small intimate wedding. Of course, Jovi is happy that now his family and friends can share in his special day. But Yara only sees this as just another distraction from her and the purpose of their trip.

Once they arrive at the hotel, Yara confesses to Jovi she isn’t happy. Confronted with the thought of losing his wife-to-be and child, Jovi quickly agrees to try to do a better job focusing on her. He even agrees to ditch his friends for the night and do something romantic, with just Yara.

Mike, 35 (Sequim, WA), and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Sadly, instead of a wedding, Natalie only has a drive to Seattle with Mike’s neighbor, Tamara to look forward to, before boarding a flight to France. As she loads the car, Mike comes out of the house crying with no tears trying to apologize. Sigh! At this point, what more is there to say?  Although, I knew the chance of this marriage actually happening was low, I still feel bad for Natalie. Mike led her to believe that he was ready to jump the broom. The thought of someone cancelling a wedding the same day, has to be devastating, especially when you have to leave the country.

After heading for the hotel, Natalie and Tamara have to go back to Mike’s house to get his credit card. Once they arrive, he has the nerve to ask her for the ring back. WTF! Hell no, I would keep the ring just for my troubles too. Natalie was keeping it together pretty well, until she saw Mike. Afterwards, she went off on Tamara and started crying hysterically. Sigh! I truly feel bad for Natalie; no one deserves to be humiliated like that.

Stephanie, 52 (Grand Rapids, MI), and Ryan, 27 (Belize)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Stephanie questions whether Harris is truly done with the mother of his children. When she pulls up a picture on his Facebook, he says he has moved on and once again proclaims his love. Insert side eye! Later, Harris and Stephanie’s little vacation has finally come to an end. He definitely left in a better position, than when he came. Not only did he receive money and gifts, he is now in line to start a new life with Stephanie in Michigan. But before any of that can happen, she wants to speak to Harris’ ex, Emma. Good luck! Something tells me, she may have a completely different viewpoint, than Harris.

Rebecca, 49 (Woodstock, GA), and Zied, 27 (Tunisia)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Zied finally tells his sister he is getting married to Rebecca. He has been hesitant because he knows his sister is still getting accustomed to him leaving the country and doesn’t particularly like Rebecca. Nonetheless, Zied plans to marry his American queen, before the month of Ramadan. Although they have been together for 2 years, they have only been in the same place for a MONTH! Several things have already gone wrong, the dress doesn’t fit, she lost her ring and now her son and his family can’t attend. Honestly, she looks like she has aged in a matter of days from all of the stress. Rebecca vents to her best friend who reminds her that she is finally going to marry the man she has wanted to be with for years. I don’t know, but something still seems off about the timing.

Tarik, 46 (Virginia Beach, VA), and Hazel, 28 (Philippines)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Hazel decides to come out to her religious family about her bisexuality, before she gets married. Her family is shocked when she reveals the news during video call. But her father says he is happy, as long as she is happy, despite her mother’s concern. I’m glad Hazel can have some peace of mind now.

It’s the day before Tariq and Hazel’s wedding and some of his friends have organized a bachelorette party. Much to her surprise, Tariq even selected a stripper of her dreams for the party. From the look on Hazel’s face, she definitely had a good time. She now wants a girlfriend that looks like the dancer.

Andrew, 32 (Roseville, CA), and Amira, 28 (France)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

Two hours before Amira was scheduled to board her flight to America, Andrew calls her screaming and picking a fight about her not being ready to have kids. He even sends her mean messages to drive home his point. Despite all of this, she still goes to airport to prove her love. It’s not until she receives a phone call from Andrew saying she will be met in America by an angry fiancé that she decides to leave. After having a panic attack from all the pressure, she realizes her dad may have been right. When she breaks the news that she is headed back home to France via text, his only response is “when should he expect my ring back.” Sigh! I’m sorry, but Amira you can do so much better. Andrew is emotionally abusive and not boarding that flight was probably for the best.

Brandon, 27 (Dinwiddie, VA), and Julia, 26 (Russia)

90 Day Fiance Recap: Love Me or Leave Me

In light of the pandemic, Brandon’s parents suggest that he and Julia get married sooner than later. Rather than a church ceremony in a month, they are now considering pushing the date up within a few days. Brandon’s mother finds a minister to officiate the wedding on short notice. But Julia gets upset when she feels like Brandon doesn’t care about their special day. Knowing their financial situation, she doesn’t believe they will ever have the wedding she truly wants.  So she wants the one they have to still feel special. Brandon on the other hand just wants to sign papers and be done with it. I agree with Julia, this is probably the only wedding she will have. I see nothing wrong with her wanting to add some personal touches, so that she feels like a true bride.
