This past year has been absolutely brutal on the restaurant industry. Many restaurants temporarily shut down in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Some managed to make some money by doing take-out and delivery orders only.
And, then, sadly, many restaurants couldn’t survive the difficulties of the pandemic. Even Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd have struggled during these tough times. Their restaurant Pump was closed for the majority of the pandemic. On top of that, Pump was indefinitely suspended for some sort of tax payment discrepancy.
Thankfully, Pump is opening soon though. Lisa herself tweeted, “Ok a big week coming, it’s been a long year, but filming three shows has definitely kept me busy, I am fully vaccinated many of our staff are in process, numbers are way down, Overserved airs on E Mar 18 th it’s so much fun lol,Pump opens 17th. And our rescue has now saved 2200 dog.”
She shared a lot of updates in that tweet. She sure is a busy lady, but just in case you missed it, Pump will be re-opening on March 17.

In a subsequent tweet, Lisa said, “Apparently,I have got to the bottom of it
It was $250 filing fee from 2016 ….So important, worthy of a headline…said no one ever.Geez 10;000 restaurants have closed for good….so sad. #pump Goodnight.”
Hopefully, the pump re-opening means that Vanderpump Rules will resume filming soon.
