Woof. Honestly, I thought the belated and super public fetal alcohol accusations were way too much. Thomas Ravenel will simply *not* keep any potentially negative press about the mother of his children to himself. I get that Kathryn Dennis is a grown woman, making her own decisions (many of which are super fucked up), but this is the mother of his kids! He was literally just living with her! And she thought they were getting back together?? Sure, that’s completely delusional from a self-respect standpoint, but it also doesn’t add up.
Before Thomas’ exit from the show, most of this couples’ tumult made its way onto Southern Charm. Now we have to rely on court documents for this mess.
The Sun has reported that Thomas is now the primary custodian of his children with Kathryn. It’s pretty bad when a convicted sex offender is given primary custody, right? He pleaded guilty to assault. This is seriously mind blowing! And yet somehow, for this show, it all makes sense.
It’s reported that Kathryn has only temporarily lost custody of her two children. A source claimed, “She has supervised visitation during the day Saturday and Sunday every other weekend.”
The temporary order was filed by the court on Feb 25th after the hearing on Feb 9th. The decision was made following Thomas’ accusations of Kathryn’s drug abuse and child neglect. The accusations seem to have come from a few different incidents.

Thomas is claiming Kathryn and her new boyfriend Chleb Ravenell took the kids, and some other friends, on a vacation to North Carolina. Thomas’ friend claims to have “witnessed a lot of cocaine use during this trip and that Kathryn had left cocaine within grasp of the children, which he thought was dangerous.”
Kathryn responded to the claims saying, “I do not use cocaine so naturally I have not left any out for our children to access.”
Thomas also claims that he hired someone to complete surveillance on Kathryn. Casual co-parenting at it’s finest. The sleuth allegedly saw Kathryn leave the children home alone and unsupervised “on multiple occasions” and even gave two specific dates. Thomas claimed that one of the times the children were “seen alone in front of the house.” He also reported a time when a neighbor called the police after allegedly noticing their son wandering around a busy road unsupervised. Yikes!

A source has also revealed that Thomas is planning to move his children to Aiken, South Carolina this summer. He claims to have found a private school that is willing to take both children in the 2021-22 school year. To the judge he called Aiken a “safe, stable and secure environment” for them. This is following claims that Kathryn is not adequately meeting their son’s therapeutic and educational needs.
After the news broke that Kathryn can now only see her kids on alternating weekends, she posted a picture to Instagram having some more fun with her new boo, Chleb. It seems as though the couple has been in Miami for the last week. The Sun spotted the faux pas along with few follower comments.

One person flat out asked, “Did you just lose custody of your kids?” Another said, “Seems like her focus should be to get her kids back, not traveling with her boyfriend.”
One follower remarked, “to be in South Beach hanging out with your boyfriend when you just lost custody of your kids is such a bad look.”
So there we have it. Thomas is still disgusting. And Kathryn is apparently on her own journey.
