Kate Chastain may be done wearing a khaki skirt with a polyester polo on Below Deck, but she still (clearly) has a strong relationship with the Bravo network. She and Porsha Williams executive produce and host the virtual talk show Bravo’s Chat Room. Or at least they did. Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant and Summer House’s Hannah Berner have also served as co-hosts.
However, Kate has been absent from the most recent episodes. And, now, she’s apparently done with the job. But, why is that? It’s not as if she could blame her exit on the commute since it’s a virtual job. (Lame joke…. let’s continue).
E! was the first to report that Kate was gone from the show for good. The site didn’t share any additional information, but ET did. A source said, “It started as a six-episode, two-week run and just keeps extending. They’re now up to 42 episodes and none of the cast was expecting that!” Does that mean that she left because she didn’t expect the show to actually continue?
Porsha celebrated the show’s extension by 13 episodes via Instagram. In her caption, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star tagged Gizelle and Hannah in the caption, but not Kate. Kate didn’t comment or like the post (as of now). She’s also not following Porsha on Instagram. However, she does follow Hannah and Gizelle. Porsha follows Kate though.

Is there some sort of inter-Bravo feud going on? Or is Kate just busy appearing on Below Deck Galley Talk? Maybe she’s just over Gizelle’s fashions and Hannah’s stolen jokes. Oh wait, that’s just me.
Considering that Kate is on Galley Talk and she’s on Watch What Happens Live pretty often, it seems like she has a pretty solid relationship with Bravo. In fact, ET reports, “The network is still interested in working with her on potential future projects.” We shall see what’s next for Kate. She was one of the only good parts best parts of Bravo’s Chat Room though.
